A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

Ideal beachfront location on the North Bay, seconds walk away from Peasholm Park and Scarborough Outdoor Theatre and you practically step out onto the beach. 15 minute walk to the town centre, maybe 30 mins to stroll around the headland to South Bay and the harbour. Well appointed and comfortable, secure private parking, a great base for a few days on the N. Yorks coast.

This was our third at Sally’s place and we continue to enjoy it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a weekend away, perfect for small children and young families. We will be back again, I am sure!

Thank you for hosting us Val. We had an amazing stay at Hazel’s Hideaway. The location was perfect, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The bonus of onsite parking was great for us. The Hideaway was beautifully presented, very clean and included everything we could need. The little extra touches were much appreciated. I highly recommend Hazel’s Hideaway and Val as a host. I’m hoping we will visit again soon!

fantastic apartment in a great location not too bad pub within 2 minute walk also beach not too far away either you can walk to Filey v beach in about 50 minutes or Hunmandy gap in around 25 minutes Excellent clean apartment with a tv in living room and an additional one in bedroom easy check in great kitchen and facilities would highly recommend

Had a lovely stay for the weekend! location was great for walking into town and having a set parking space was the clincher for us, no worrying about finding somewhere to keep the car. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean, really couldn't have asked for a m nicer place to stay.

This apartment was a great place to stay. Andrew’s instructions on how to get toThe Bay and how to check in on arrival we’re very clear. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed - we appreciated the tea, coffee, milk and shortbread biscuits. The Bay is quiet at this time of year, so no issues with finding a parking space. We took full advantage of the private access to the beach - but beware, the path is very steep! However it’s worth it, as the views from the bay are exceptional. The location is also great for visiting Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby. This was our first experience of Airbnb and it was great. We can certainly recommend this lovely apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks Andrew.

3 of us had a great 2 days here. Very close to beach and North Bay and other places such as castle, Peasholm Park, railway station and south bay are all within walking distance. Very easy to find, instructions very clear.

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

First time booking through airb&b, lovely house very clean and welcoming. Home from home feel as soon as you enter, great selection of toys and games to keep the kids entertained also a nice little welcome hamper was lovely on arrival. Host was very informative with all the details needed to make it all stress-free , Would highly reccomend booking cottage. Thank you joanne for a lovely stay.

What a little gem this cottage is. The location is fab, and walkable to pubs and the beach. The cottage has a huge enclosed garden with a lovely decked area with seating and a trampoline which the kids loved. There was a lovely welcome hamper upon our arrival which went down a treat with all of us. Jane has thought of everything, the kitchen is really well equipped, logs for the log burner, magazines and games. And stuff for the dog too. Loads to do around the area, so the location is perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this place you won’t regret it!

A lovely stay in fantastic accommodation! It was exactly what we were looking for and made a perfect base for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area. Check-in was smooth, everything was spotlessly clean, and the communication from the hosts was excellent—including thoughtful local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

Excellent accommodation but in the middle of what is in effect a large housing development and quite a walk down to the beach. Quality of food at local pub was poor, but provided you are willing to go off in the car there are lots of interesting places and great beaches nearby.

This the first time I’ve ever used an Air B&B Me and my wife were really pleased with the accommodation. It was really comfortable and cozy. Everything was there that you could wish for. It was very clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Host Jennifer has been very helpful and I would like to thank her for having such lovely accommodation. The sea front was literally 2 minutes away with beautiful views.

I went away with my sisters and 2 friends for my Birthday weekend , we had such a wonderful time and this was definitely to do with where we stayed. The house is quirky , spacious and absolutely beautiful. I felt so at peace as soon as I walked in. There is a car park so close by with reasonable rates and so much on the doorstep. Camilla is an attentive and friendly host who was quick to offer recommendations of places to visit and to check in with us during our stay. Definitely book here it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Just one night but a perfect one night. Mesmerising views over South Bay, never turned on the TV, the view was enough. Apartment was exceptional, everything you could need. Dined at India, just down Castle Road, and the food and service were both very good. Breakfast at The Lookout on the Pier, as per Andrea’s recommendation and that too was excellent.

The apartment was very well placed, clean & tidy. Beautiful kitchen & large tv. Felt at home straight away. Whitby was so busy we couldn't use the W parking zone. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would definitely use again. Plenty of amenities nearby, breakfast next door is recommended. Brilliant holiday.

Amanda's place was lovely and peaceful very clean and spacious. Within walking distance from Whitby Town centre and Whitby Abbey so close enough for the hustle and bustle of Whitby but close enough to return for the amazing views peace and quiet. Amanda was very helpful with all the questions I asked and there was plenty of ideas in folder left in flat. As I'm guessing if you go to Whitby you also have an idea on what you want to do but always helps when some ideas are in folder, that are different. Plenty of eating areas and coffee shops plus plenty of bars and restaurants. If you can manage the 199 steps there's a Whitby brewery at the top which is amazing as well. Everywhere we went into people and locals were polite and friendly. Amandas apartment was perfect peaceful, spacious and quiet located on first floor accessible either by stairs of a lift. We stayed with Alison and John for goth weekend in April 2025. The apartment is amazing, there was everything you could ever had needed plus a lovely welcome gift too. The heated mirror in the bathroom was a good surprise! The location was perfect for all the happenings at goth weekend. Would definitely stay again if lucky enough to find it empty 🖤

Absolutely beautiful place and would highly recommend. Deco and furnishings done to a very high standard. Clean throughout and all rooms are great sizes. Super comfy bed with high quality bedding. All mod/cons, everything you need for your stay. Will definitely return. The best AirB&B we have ever stayed in. Teresa the owner was very helpful, a superb host. A beautiful apartment, the location is great, with the sea at the end of the street. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Nice big telly for when it rained one afternoon. We parked right outside the apartment and there seemed plenty of space for this. Nice, quiet and safe street, 10 min walk to the amusements on the foreshore.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

Spent a few wonderful nights here while I was in town visiting family and it was the perfect spot. All the shops and restaurants were within walking distance, but the apartment was quiet and removed from all the noise. Waking up to a view of the abbey every morning was just icing on the cake! Paula also was very responsive and easy to get ahold of for any questions. Highly recommend!
