This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

A 15-minute min stroll will take you over the dunes to the secluded end of Horseshoe Bay for a swim or to watch the sunset. Shops and restaurants are just 3 minute drive away. The nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk from the property. The bus takes you all over the island bays.

Set on 40 Private acres, this modern cabin has a separate air-cond bedroom with k/size bed. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge with sofa that converts to a d/bed for extra guests. Large bathroom, covered deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, smart TV,netfix.
