Quiet and peaceful getaway. Great place to sit back and relax and listen to the birds. Lucky enough to have a cassowary visit on my first day. Walking distance to beach and cafe down the road, which is a gem of a place. Friendly and very helpful hosts. Unit was comfortable and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Recommend if you enjoy some quiet time.

Quiet and safe spot so close to the Strand and everything it has to offer. Yes it is an older place but it was super clean and great value for money. Would love to stay again. Great communication and flexibility when I needed to check in late. Has everything you need and you are one block from the ocean. Walkable to tons of coffee shops, restaurants and Coles.

Steve and Bettina’s place was a fantastic location for our 5 day stay. The apartment is as described - clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is a great location to restaurants and the Strand as well as nice and quiet! Steve and Bettina were always approachable and responsive with our questions. I have been travelling with a friend and Skye’s place was perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and it was so good to have plenty of space to relax after spending the previous night in a twin share hotel room. We didn’t have great weather but we still managed to take in plenty of sites and got in some great walks. Sitting on the covered patio with a glass of wine and a good book was a lovely way to end each day. Our host provided some great dining recommendations as well as other useful gems of local knowledge (e.g. - arrows in the gravel path or made of sticks are indicators there are koalas to be seen). Magnetic Island has a lovely, relaxed vibe and Skye’s place makes a great base to enjoy it from. I will definitely be back and have no hesitation in booking Skye’s home again :)

The accommodation meet our needs for our Townsville stay. Close to the Strand its offerings including restaurants, shops, beach, etc. The apartment amenities were clean, functional and sufficient for our needs.

The accommodation was exactly what we needed with a great location. A few minor hiccups pertaining to local weather issues in the weeks prior that were resolved before we attended. Prompt response when an aircon was found to be faulty and appropriate recognition and action. The house itself had so much space and was fantastic for this family getaway. Would definitely consider this host and location again.

My partner and son stayed at Scott’s place for 10 nights over the Easter holiday on a boys' fishing trip. There was plenty of room for parking a car and a boat. Ideal set-up for fishing off the Palm Island group. Just needs the right tides to get out from the creek. Great place if you enjoy a peaceful place. Our son loved it as he got a 95cm Barra at the river mouth. The house was perfect for two of them. The pool was a bonus and the kitchen was well stocked. They really enjoyed their stay at Scott’s place.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The house was beautifully positioned next to a walking track along the rain forest edge, leading to the beach. Whilst the yard and house were clearly visible to the track, I only saw a handful of people walk past. The house itself was well equipped with a coffee machine, water carbonator, wifi, and we were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail. I loved staying here watching the Monarch Butterflies, and it was the recharge I needed. It was within walking distance of the bars, restaurants, shops and more importantly the beach. Our trip wasn't for leisure but we got lucky to have stayed in Adrienne's place. My wife and daughter just couldn't decide which part of the house was their favourite. Clean and tidy, well equipped and very homey. Adrienne is commendable as a host. Responded in a timely manner. Check in instructions very clear and process was easy. Thank you Adrienne for sharing your bit of paradise.

A great location for exploring Picnic Bay and the rest of the island! Thank you for allowing our pet to join us for a long weekend. It’s hard to find a spot on the island that will accept pets but is also conveniently located close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

The house was just like the photos. It was very clean. The host responded to our questions within the day. Thank you so much for coming out to check out the toilet. We came with 8 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. Very short walk to the beach too (about 5 minutes). Highly recommend this place, we had a great time.

We traveled to Cairns for a family vacation! Christine’s place was top notch in terms of location and surroundings with very happening cafes & restaurants just around the corner. Moreover, we spent 2 days just enjoying the property with great ocean views and coffee ! Pool & tennis lawn added more entertainment! This relaxed city & the property has given our family a core travel memory! Highly recommend this property a great family vacation living experience !

Loved The Library, really quirky & inventive use of the space. Comfortable & cosy, I felt at home for the month. Eileen & Gordon were wonderful hosts, kind, understanding and very friendly. I would highly recommend their Airbnb if you love books, characterful furniture & quirky.

Paul's unit is in a perfect location. We canceled our car rental because everything is very walkable. Great restaurants, markets, shopping, and activities in the area. The balcony has a beautiful view of the esplanade. Loved hanging out at dusk watching the fruit bats. We will stay here again if we return to Cairns for a holiday! Recommend Passions of Paradise for snorkel/dive coral reef. Great staff and a wonderful boat! Thanks, Paul!

Ideal location and very accessible (highly recommend for anyone using a wheelchair). Comfortable bed and great for a stay in Cairns. Lacking basic condiments (salt, pepper and oil) and basic supplies (garbage bags, tongs and chux)

Diese kleine aber feine Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht. Der Wohnbereich ist grosszügig und bequem eingerichtet, die Küche super ausgestattet und alle Räumlichkeiten sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Super Lage mit einigen Kaffees, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um umkreis von 15-20 Gehminuten. Der Preis ist eher etwas teuer aber dafür bekommt man eine kleine, gemütliche Wohnung ganz für sich.

The location of the apartment and the views are great. The place is just as described & very comfortable. Thomas' responses & communication were always very prompt & helpful. I would highly recommend his place to anyone coming to Cairns.

A beautiful and modern apartment with stunning views. All amenities were fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. A cot was setup ready for our baby. Very minor note, the Wi-Fi across Bright Point is ok, but it can be unreliable, particularly in the evenings.

The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was homey but not cluttered! Great location two blocks from the strand and right across the street from the botanic gardens. We walked to the water every morning and afternoons for coffees and swims. The unit’s air con worked great and we slept well. The shower was spacious and you can see castle hill from the window in the bathroom. Angels and Shaun were gracious and messaged us back quickly.
