Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Parsons Pen - stay in beautiful isolation

Parsons Pen offers different type of camping. Set in a copse, with a flat grassed clearing, nestled on a sheltered hill on a working family farm. You rent the entire site, which is yours alone, ideal for families and groups of friends. There will be no other guests unless you decide to invite them to join you. Located in West Dorset near the Jurassic coast, Bridport & Beaminster. The site has extensive views of rolling valleys and deciduous woodlands, a short walk gives glimpses of the sea.

Laurie (horse lorry re-invented)

Laurie was in active service until September '22. Now retired from horse movement and fitted to sleep four (see photos). Wrap around deck with steps to the side living door seating area to the rear with lovely views over open countryside. Living area with mini kitchen, hot and cold water, microwave combi, two hobs, fridge & freezer compartment, table & seating for four. Log burner in living area. Fishing on farm. Indoor exercise pool payable locally. (Subject to availability) Toilet 10 meters.

‘Bertha’ is a 1947 restored Showman’s Wagon. Set in its own private garden, surrounded by secluded, beautiful, AONB countryside, situated between the villages of Cheddar and Draycott. The site is an ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers, or those who wish to enjoy and explore the Mendips, the Somerset Levels, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and more. The Shepherd's Hut, Wimborne

Set within a woodland glade on a small farm near Wimborne, offering the tranquility of being amongst nature. Double bed with an additional small single bed available for young child and an equipped kitchen. Quirky, outside shower and toilet will provide a back to basics, memorable stay. “Rex the Bus” Quirky and fun bus conversion.

"Rex the Bus" is unique, fun and just a little bit quirky. This double decker bus has been converted to the highest standard and connected to mains electricity, water and drainage. Enjoy panoramic views of the countryside from the windows, watch the sunrise from your double bed or cabin bunk bed. Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

RAF Mobile Aviation Control Tower

A unique holiday space which is a converted RAF mobile aviation control tower with a perfect little living area. From a sofa which converts into a double bed, kitchen and dining , wine fridge, this holiday home has everything you need for a memorable getaway. With a stairway to the observatory for additional dining and perfect for a panoramic view while relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Outside patio/garden for bbq and alfresco dining. Private toilet and shower block is a short walk away.
