Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Laurie was in active service until September '22. Now retired from horse movement and fitted to sleep four (see photos). Wrap around deck with steps to the side living door seating area to the rear with lovely views over open countryside. Living area with mini kitchen, hot and cold water, microwave combi, two hobs, fridge & freezer compartment, table & seating for four. Log burner in living area. Fishing on farm. Indoor exercise pool payable locally. (Subject to availability) Toilet 10 meters.

You rent the entire site, which is yours alone, ideal for families and groups of friends. There will be no other guests unless you decide to invite them to join you. Located in West Dorset near the Jurassic coast, Bridport & Beaminster. The site has extensive views of rolling valleys and deciduous woodlands, a short walk gives glimpses of the sea.

Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

We are a 10 minute drive away from Dorchester which was the home town of Thomas Hardy. Also local to us are lots of lovely seaside towns such as Weymouth & Swanage and the ruins of Corfe Castle.
