The Old Barn is at the far end of a long wing of a lovely family farmhouse just outside a rural village in the stunning landscape of North Dorset. Its amazing views look over Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire. The Old Barn is a very large studio space 12m x 4.5m with a king size bed, an additional double bedroom is available by prior & separate arrangement, the ensuite bath & shower is between the two rooms. The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Car Museum and many more.

Orchard Cottage

A beautifully converted barn with a contemporary feel next to a 17th century cider house set in the middle of 12 acres of gardens and ancient orchards. Ideal for those who enjoy modern comforts and luxurious touches such as 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, top quality feather pillows (with hypo-allergenic pillows on request) and bathrobes combined with the peace of the beautiful Somerset countryside. Perfect for dog lovers, with great walks from the house and in the grounds.

Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

The Flower Barn

Beautifully renovated spacious 2 bedroom barn conversion on a traditional Dorset farm yard. Situated in the heart of the Blackmore Vale the Flower Barn is half way between Sherborne and Shaftesbury. Bruton, Hauser and Wirth and The Newt in Somerset are all less than half an hour's drive. Ideal for short breaks, wedding guests, school half terms and holidays and conveniently only 20 mins from the A303. Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral and the Jurassic Coast are only an hour's drive.

Lakeside Cottage - at Incombe Farm

Really comfortable and warm converted stables next to our main house but with privacy, standing in idyllic private valley. Less than 2 miles from Shaftesbury. The cottage overlooks our small lake (about 1/2 acre). Peaceful countryside with buzzards, woodpeckers, a barn owl, ducks, pheasants, deer and even otters. See them at your breakfast table or in our enclosed veranda with circular table and overhead heater. Well behaved small / medium dogs only - strictly by prior agreement.
