I had a magic few days at Lori and Mike's. I drive a VW passat and I found the drive up the mountain to be non-challenging and even very fun by the end. The hosts are cool and easy to get along with. A+ doggo. Hot tub was great. Pool was fun. I usually stay in SF when I'm in the Bay Area. This was much more lovely and relaxing, with SF close enough that going in for dinner or a show felt like it wasn't a big deal. 100% would recommend this place. I brought my cat and had my lady friend with me for a night. Everyone loved it.

We had a wonderful time at Arlene’s. Everything was lovely and the location was perfect.

Wonderful stay at Jeanne's cottage. The setting was outstanding and the home very comfortable. I loved the sun room with comfortable seating and the ability to choose between the covered front porch and back deck to sit outside. Jeanne was very friendly and responsive. I can't wait to come back.!

The cottage was lovely and it was super peaceful but also close enough to downtown Ferndale to walk!

Our stay at this magical Ferndale cottage was truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, Caroline was incredibly communicative and thoughtful. Checking in before, during, and after our visit. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from Ferndale’s charming main street and a short drive to the breathtaking Avenue of the Giants. But honestly, we barely wanted to leave the cottage. It’s so cozy, beautifully appointed, and surrounded by a whimsical garden and a babbling creek. It felt like something out of a fairytale. The space is stocked with everything you might need, and Caroline went above and beyond by leaving us a few welcome treats. My partner, who’s British, lit up when he saw the “After Eight” mints.. a sweet, nostalgic touch. Every detail reflects true care and hospitality. We felt completely at home and can’t wait for the chance to return. Highly recommended!

This was a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood but a short drive to downtown. It opens onto a large field which was nice to enjoy the beautiful weather and the hosts included many toys that our young children enjoyed. There's lots of space and a wonderful kitchen.

My partner and I spent a night at Curtis’ farm stay and had a lovely time. Said hi to some of the animals and walked around the grounds, which were really beautiful. Friendly farm staff too! Would definitely stay again!

The cabin is situated amongst towering redwoods on a gorgeous private property. There is a short trail to an overlook to see a waterfall and a private fire pit by a small pond. The cabin itself was cute, rustic, and fit 4 adults. WiFi was spotty given the location, but that was fine for us as we wanted to unplug. Overall highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing weekend to explore Mendocino.

What a Wonderful Magical Pl., The Hobbit house was amazing as well as their breakfast was wonderful very attentive to all our needs. We would love to stay there again thank you very much for your hospitality Elena.

We definitely want to come back! Cozy, peaceful, sounds of frogs, nestled in the redwoods. Shower was so hot and the outdoor tub is magical. Fireplace was lovely. Friendly neighbors. Nice touches like handmade wood work and fresh bouquets of lilacs and wildflowers. Feels like you’re outdoors. Kitchen fully stocked. Can hike to the river from the house.

This was a phenomenal cottage out in the redwoods! It was super clean. We really enjoyed the gas grill, the fire pit in the back and the lovely creek that ran behind the home. We also really enjoyed seeing the Roosevelt elk in the front yard. So peaceful! The host was wonderful and very accommodating! The only drawback to staying in this particular area is that it is about 30 minutes to a grocery store or restaurant. But there is so much to see that is very close by including the beach ! Also, six people was quite difficult with only one bathroom. I can’t imagine 8. 😅 Overall- this was an amazing stay! We would definitely 💯 recommend!

Absolutely peaceful and beautiful place to stay if you’re wanting to explore the surrounding areas. Has everything you need and more. Really enjoyed the garden and patio area to unwind after a long day. Will definitely recommend! Thank you to our host for having us and making our trip that much more special.

Jody's home was the perfect spot for our family of 5. Kids loved the farm and enjoyed interacting with all the animals; the adults loved relaxing in the home while listening to the rushing water of the creek, the deck and waterfall. Jody was a wonderful and responsive host, we look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful 150 year old farmhouse in a quiet area. I loved reading about the family history of the place, which has been in their family since it was built in 1871. It was a lovely, peaceful setting with beautiful vineyards out back and redwood trees very nearby. The wineries, hiking and restaurants we wanted were easily accessible from the house. The heating system is quite old so if anyone is staying there in the winter, be prepared. Otherwise, the house has been nicely updated.

This is the best Airbnb I have stayed at in the area, Great, quiet location, beautiful vineyard. Well sitting around the firepit we had a great view of the stars, well listening to a creek flowing in the distance with the sound of frogs and grasshoppers all around us. Great walk down to the local farmer's market and wine tasting. The house was very clean with a great setup, very comfortable beds.

This is an exceptional place! The kitchen has a beautiful old butcher block, a restaurant quality gas range and oven. The hosts were responsive, Rachel even helped me carry some of my things down the 30 or so stairs from the parking area! It looks daunting, but I am a reasonably fit 65 year old woman with 2 artificial hips and I managed it just fine! 😁 The bed is super comfortable, the washer and dryer were clean and worked like new. The deck was shady and cooled nicely in the evenings and early mornings during the 100°+ heat wave we experienced. In fact the unit stayed 20 or 30 degrees cooler than outdoors on the hottest days, despite having no air conditioner. The refrigerator was spotless with a full water filter pitcher and full ice tray on arrival. The freezer was super cold, and it only took an hour to freeze more cubes when needed. I've stayed in a lot of AirBnb rentals over the years, and this was one of the very nicest. I hope to stay here again when in the area!

We had a wonderful visit at Sail & Anchor Vineyard. We were in town for a wedding in Sonoma and this AirBnB was the perfect location for our group. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Sonoma, it was a comfortable space to come back to between wedding festivities, plenty of space for our group, and the hot tub + pool were easy to use and great to have. Our hosts made the visit super easy and were great communicators as well. If you're looking for a good AirBnB for your group in the Sonoma region, this is it!

What a perfect home! This was centrally located, HUGE space, and friendly hosts. We rented this for some friends for our wedding weekend and it was perfect. Everyone could gather to hang, or have some private space for downtime. It’s relaxing enough that you wouldn’t even need to leave the Airbnb for a staycation. Highly recommend and will return!
