Great place to stay! Very nice neighbourhood and home is clean and convenient for a family. We had great time there. We loved the house.

The indoor space was quite amazing. The owner obviously took time and effort to make the space beautiful and usable. Beds were comfortable, lots of supplies to cook in the kitchen, and the home was spotless. The home was a lot larger than we had imagined, so gave us space to spread out. Jess was extremely responsive and quick when we had questions. The only improvement (which I passed on to Jess) was to make the path from the house to the hot tub easier to navigate (especially in the dark). She already stated that she is working on that as a project very soon. I would recommend this home to adults. There are some pieces of art and glass objects that I would not want small kids around, in case they break. The home is a 15 minute drive to downtown Sebastopol and about 35-40 minutes to downtown Sonoma.

Joan's place is magical — set amidst redwoods within walking distance of the center of Mill Valley, where there are plenty of restaurants, a good bookstore, and delicious coffee. The living/dining area has floor to ceiling windows...more like glass walls, and there's a spacious deck where you can watch the sunrise on a clear day and the stars at night. If you want to stay in a place that feels full of history and stories, there's no better place. This is the second time I've gotten to stay at Joan's for a work retreat, and it has been absolutely perfect both times. And Joan herself is utterly lovely and generous — an added delight to the experience.

We had a great 3 nights and 4 days staying here. Parking was more than ample for our large group. Furnishings are vintage definitely. Everything in the kitchen worked and there were two refrigerators. The pool is fabulous. Spent a lot of time on the Patio as the weather was just perfect. Had a tournament amongst our group with the shuffleboard and it was great fun. Did not explore much in downtown. We'll definitely be coming back.

The house is stunningly beautiful - wood floors, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful tile work- in one of the most stunningly beautiful parts of California - a beaches and hiking trails that go on for miles. Definitely one of the nicest Air B and Bs that we have stayed at.

Wow! Caroline has created such a special Airbnb. So many welcoming and thoughtful details. The Victorian-era house is really neat with all the amenities you could need and more. The property and grounds are so peaceful, the hosts are extremely welcoming; I can't say enough about this place. We had such a relaxing and pleasant stay. Would 100% stay here again.

It’s a special experience staying at Little Castle. Not only is it a lovely house but it is equipped with everything you can imagine for a great stay. My family had our Thanksgiving during our stay and everything you can imagine to cook for and serve eleven people was available. Leslie was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend Little Castle enough if you are looking to get a large group together.

Rachel was a great host! Very responsive and happy to give recommendations for things to do in downtown Sacramento. Lovely spot, lots of space, and great amenities. Very close to downtown and a nice quiet area.

We really enjoyed our stay. the space was very cute and had more amenities than I would have expected! It was very clean and the skylights and tall ceilings were lovely. made the studio feel big!

I had a great time staying at Ruby's garden house. I had everything that I needed for my stay, the area felt very safe to me and she was very helpful!

Katie was so knowledgeable on the area, and helped inform us on the area like no other local could! When we first walked into the house the smell of freshly baked bread filled the room. She made us bread to eat! I ate that bread every day I was there. Delicious. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of the amenities/tools a kitchen should have. We cooked every day rather than going out because we enjoyed cooking there so much! The rooms are tidy and comfy. The washer and dryer were a plus! Having the outside patio area was peaceful and nice to have. So close to cal poly and so close to downtown, yet with plenty of privacy. I recommend Katie’s place wholeheartedly!

My stay with Emily was excellent. The proximity to UC Berkeley and various stores makes the room a very good accommodation for visiting scholars (and others working at the university). I also got to know Emily's son and her dog, everyone made me feel at home from the beginning, even though I was far away (from Germany). I can only recommend Emily's place :-)

We had a wonderful relaxing 3 nights at the Hummingbird haven. Loved the delicious breakfast treats, comfy bed and stunning gardens. It was so peaceful and just what we needed to reset and recharge! Margaret is an amazing host and we loved her local recommendations, thank you – we’ll be back!

Ons verblijf bij Tall Timbers was geweldig. Wij voelden ons direct thuis. Martha is fantastisch: niets is haar teveel en ze is ontzettend aardig. Mooie, schone kamers, heerlijk ontbijt, geweldige locatie bij Lassen NP, wij hadden het niet beter kunnen treffen. John en Marius

This place is the perfect getaway for a couple looking to explore Sonoma County without paying for an overpriced hotel. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The Sleep Number bed was incredibly comfortable—it actually caused us to sleep in longer than expected! Upon arrival, the hosts warmly greeted us and gave us a tour of their home. They even offered to set up a fire near their beautiful rose garden or let us relax on their front porch. They also provided a great binder full of thoughtful local recommendations. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Beautiful garden in a nice Berkeley home. Very quiet and clean room with good private bathroom. Great location with many locations including our favorite store Berkeley Bowl (which should be added to your recommended places) in easy driving distance. Comfortable bed and Rachel had welcome goodies waiting for us in our room’s refrigerator. She was very accommodating with our delayed flight and helped us inside after we lost our instructions. Snacks in the refrigerator helped us late at night when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Grandma Patree welcomed me with open arms and had fresh baked bread and cookies for me when I arrived. She also had pleasant animals all around the house and it was such a perfect place to stay in crescent city! Thank you so much!

Patty is a very nice host! We enjoyed a very quiet and relaxing night in her home! Her friendly cats were a bonus:)
