Welcome to our Tranquil A-Frame Cottage! Relax, refocus and rejuvenate at this newly refurbished chalet perched on a secluded hill surrounded by evergreens. The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

She is unadorned, a simple off-grid shelter for your wilderness retreat. Historic and comfy 1870 Chalet at Gerber's

The chalet is located at Gerber's Nursery outside the village of Golden Lake, and provides a cozy get away for a couple, small family or four friends travelling together. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the loft has a double, with a small sofa bed downstairs which sleeps one. We are 30 minutes from Renfrew, Pembroke and Barry's Bay. 1.5 hours west of Ottawa. In the other direction 1.5 hours to Algonquin Park. A great base to explore the Ottawa Valley.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
