This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
