We had an incredible stay at the charming retreat. From the moment we arrived, Dot was welcoming and warm, making us feel right at home. One of the first things we noticed was the thoughtful little details, like the personalized welcome sign, which set the tone for the entire stay. The place itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was both cozy and inviting. We especially loved the continental breakfast, which was delicious and the perfect start to our day. Dot also left some of our favourite chocolates to enjoy. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. Just a short walk to the beach, cafes, and restaurants, we were able to easily explore the area without feeling rushed. Despite being close to everything, the neighborhood was remarkably peaceful, which made for a relaxing and restful stay. Overall, the retreat exceeded our expectations in every way. Dot’s hospitality, the attention to detail, and the great location left a lasting impression.

Super happy with our stay, we had beautiful weather. Walking distant from beach and shopping complex. Perfect place to stay. Will surely be back in the future.

Wonderful stay and within walking distance of the Mornington Main Street with plenty of food options and shopping. Freshly renovated and clean accommodation with all you need! Great outdoor area too!

It was such a delightful trip! The entire house felt warm and welcoming, and the huge backyard gave my dog the perfect holiday too. I absolutely loved the bedding — it was incredibly soft and comfortable. Best of all, there was an awesome sound system in the living room that made our stay even more fun. If I return to Phillip Island, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Unpretentious older house about a 5 min drive into Cowes. Private access to beach. Wallabies and birds came up to the back fence for a feed. Possums ate our Easter eggs in the backyard on Easter Sunday morning egg hunt! We loved Richard’s house. It has a great vibe and plenty of space for three kids, five adults and our dog. Kids loved the table tennis. It was good to be away from the crowds in the Main Street. Beautiful walks along the beach which was so accessible. Richard and crew were great to communicate with.

Matt & Talal's home is beautifully furnished, smelt gorgeous on arrival and very clean. We enjoyed the projector, the outside furnishings on the deck were great to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. Close walking distance to the back beach, walkable to cafes and nice quiet street. We loved the extra details around the property that really elevated the entire vibe and enjoyment. Lovely soaps, hair care and oil burners are the extra little things that make a stay really enjoyable. The linen was so cozy and doona was super warm! Kitchen and laundry were well equipped, great coffee machine, laundry was easy to use and washer & dryer was fantastic! Overall super aesthetic home that is well looked after!

Marisa was really helpful and.easy to deal with. the house was perfect for two families, with enough space for.kids and adults alike. it's hard to tell from the pics but it's bigger than we had imagined! definitely recommend for families looking for an affordable summer spot on the peninsula that makes you feel at home :)

We had 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay. It was in a good part of the island, easy accessible. Large home with everything you would need. Amazing water pressure and a comfy firm bed. This would be great for a family as it has a large outdoor area. We were able to get in early and leave a little later which was so convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren’s place. The house is spacious, clean and well appointed - including a cupboard full of toys, which our toddlers absolutely loved! Check in and check out were very easy (with a late check out kindly offered by Lauren) and we felt right at home from the get go. Lauren is a friendly, responsive and helpful host. Thank you very much for having us, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Daniella’s place. The home was exactly as described. Very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was quick and easy the entire time. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great access to the beach and Sorrento I’d absolutely stay here again. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrea’s place! It had a games room, walkable to all the main spots in Rye. Andrea was awesome to communicate with and super friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and will be back again!!

There was a detailed file with clear instructions and information about nearby attractions and their timings, which made exploring the area so much easier. Wonderful place to stay, with easy drive to great restaurants and nice walk to the beach. The outside blockout blinds make for secure, ensconced feeling. Great for maintaining a dark sleeping environment with less road noise. My partner and I loved our stay, and found the apartment easily provided a relaxing environment to unwind in. Also, giant seahorse 👌

a great place to getaway for the weekend :) my partner and i stayed at maggie’s place for our fifth anniversary. it was a wonderful, relaxing experience. we loved the apartment’s decor and views. we also loved that everything was an easy walking distance. judy was an excellent host too :) she was so sweet and helpful!! as a first time user of airbnb, she has definitely set a high standard for hosts. :)
