Mona was a caring and responsive host. She was happy to meet any of our needs, and was extremely kind to us regarding the flexibility of the schedule. We very much enjoyed our time at her house, and in Joe Batts Arm.

We ended our trip with a couple nights here and it was lovely. Staying on Jelly Bean Row was so charming, the bed was comfortable and we got to do a couple loads of laundry which was super appreciated! Robert was very responsive and provides everything you could need. The location was super convenient to walk to so many things nearby! I’d recommend Post Master’s bakery very nearby and the Newfoundland Donut Co for sweet treats - both were amazing. Thanks Robert!

Beautiful place. Hot tub was a bonus trying to relax before stressful doctor appointments in the morning. Will return!

What an awesome house! We had a wonderful stay. The children and us loved the huge hot tub. The space was great. Everything we could have needed was already there. Lots of extra blankets and towels. Shane was always responsive and any issue was resolved immediately. Will definitely stay there again.

My group and I's stay at The Captain was good, it was extremely clean and in a fantastic location downtown, close to some of the best shopping locations in St Johns. I was surprised by how spacious the house actually was, given that the houses in downtown St Johns tend to be generally small. The only major downside to our stay was that we didn't have working electricity in half the house and only a handful of the outlets actually worked. This did impact our stay quite a lot, with not being able to charge our phones and other electronics in the bedrooms. We only found out when we arrived and experienced it first hand at the house. Emily did apologize, saying that she tried to send a message about it but it didn't send. She left us two battery powered lamps and offered to bring more by, and additionally refunded us 30 dollars for the electricity issue. She was very quick to respond. The wi-fi was also extremely spotty and only worked about half the time. Overall we did enjoy our stay!

Caroline’s place is awesome clean and smells so good . our family enjoyed our stay it’s a home away from home . We will definitely comeback if ever we drive again to Goosebay

What a gem of a place….it absolutely was a home away from home!! Such a peaceful neighbourhood, the apartment was spacious, with beautiful decor, it was extremely clean and everything we required to make our stay awesome. From the lush plants throughout the apartment, the artwork, book collection to read, the boardgames & cards which we enjoyed to the fullest…..the pride of ownership shines through 🙂 We lucked into it also being pet friendly and brought our little puppers along too. We hope to stay again over the summer and can’t imagine how beautiful the garden is when in bloom. Marjorie was awesome with her quick to response and answer any questions we had.

It was a great experience! The place was private and spacious, and well-connected with the surrounding area. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth, and Adam was friendly throughout. As people visiting Newfoundland for the first time, would wholeheartedly recommend :)

We had a fantastic stay! The place was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were really flexible, which made everything so much easier. The location was perfect — just a few minutes from the hockey rink where we watched a competition. The host was extremely responsive and made us feel really welcome. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Parking, beds were very comfortable, house was clean, comfy and quiet. Urban market 3 minutes walk away for tea buns and coffee. 15 min walk to downtown. Excellent communication from host. I would stay here again.

Ideal location, easy parking, sweeping views of downtown St. John's - we could see the fireworks New years eve in all directions, very comfortable space for our family of 5. Clean. Quiet. Beds cozy. We hope to return in the summer. Earl was very responsive and friendly.

Beautiful location. We felt right at home. We chose to visit in the off season so we could get some much needed time together as a couple. The ocean sounds are incredible to wake up to. The rental was very clean and had everything needed.

Tout est vraiment super. Le logement ainsi que les hôtes sont vraiment généreux,agréables et aussi ils connaissent très bien la région et vous guideront avec plaisir. Le secteur et vraiment beau avec une magnifique plage a 200 ou 300 m en contrebas. A refaire sans modération. Un grand merci à Geneviève et Simon et aussi à Mister(le chien).

Fred was very responsive and helpful. The place was exactly as described, with a nice balcony with a view of the water. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated that it was stocked with coffee and tea, and that there was laundry detergent available. The whole apartment was in pristine shape, and Ingonish Beach is a great place to base yourself when visiting Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Beautiful place in a great location. Would not hesitate to book again. I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay it was clean and had everything we needed the host even dropped of a shower chair for my 82 year old mom. She touched base with us to make sure everything was good. I recommend this place. we will stay again if we stay in cornerbrook in the future.
