This newly renovated unit boasts unobstructed views across Newcastle’s working harbor and the beautiful Ballast grounds. Includes Queen-sized bed and ensuite, with shampoo, conditioner and all linen provided. Fully equipped kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, toaster oven, hot plate, frypan, saucepan, sandwich maker and microwave. The Church is a very private 140 year old timber church with gothic windows and high ceilings set in its own lush native garden The living area is spacious with French Doors opening onto a large veranda under shady trees The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a queen bed Bathroom is large with a long, deep cast iron bath. Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

1912 Mayfield cottage

Home built in 1912 with many original details remaining. High ceilings, wood fire stove and east facing sunroom perfect for a morning coffee. There is a fully detached space at the rear of the property. The person using this space and sharing the deck as a common area is quiet, loves animals, and uses the deck area for access to the garage. They have no access to the main house. They will know about your stay, and will be looking forward to saying hi. The deck is fenced and animal friendly.

The light rail stop is close, very convenient to head to the Civic Theatre for a show, or enjoy the West End restaurants and night life.
