Lovely quite place to stay? Friendly host and nice welcome pack on arrival. Comfortable couch and bed. Very spacious downstairs and wheelchair friendly. The vents can be a bit noisy when the wind gets up. Very little light pollution in some directions if you are into star gazing. The drive is spacious .

I absolutely loved our stay at Barnacre Alpacas, we stayed in the rose cottage, it was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed the alpaca walk and talk, that was something I’ll never forget! On arrival the cottage was dressed up for a birthday surprise and champagne and chocolates was left for us. Thank you to Paul and Debbie, we will be back!

Thanks Ben, we had a great weekend at Stanley Cottage. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches, dog treats, human treats, phone chargers, hair straighteners, bathroom products!! The cottage was very comfortable and the hot tub a welcome pause, thank you.

Great house right in the centre of Amble and easily walkable to the harbour and many pubs, restaurants and shops. Amble was a lovely place with lots to do including boat trips, and a great riverside walk to Warkworth. Very warm and well equipped house with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and stunning bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub outside. Tesco opposite was very handy, and we enjoyed an outstanding meal at Jasper’s bistro round the corner. Parking outside was easy overnight, and the local car park behind Tesco (with electric charging) was only £9 for 72 hours. Note that the car park adjacent to next door property was not long stay. Had a really enjoyable stay at this house and would highly recommend.

We spent the weekend at Gill’s beautiful cottage and it could not have been any better. The cottage was perfect in every way and we couldn’t have felt anymore at home. The cottage itself was gorgeous and extremely well kept and the views across the fields were stunning. Gill was a great host and went above and beyond to make our trip one to remember. We would recommend this to anyone and were certainly come back again in the future.

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

We went as a family for a 60th birthday. Anna was such a good host, very informative and very helpful. The house was so well laid out for such an occasion, the kitchen was a hub of activity making family meals . It was so nice to feel right at home from the start. All the facilities have been carefully thought out. The hot tub was a very welcome addition. The house is in an ideal spot for days out in beautiful Northumberland. we had a really relaxing 3 days in a beautiful home and will definitely return.

Mark’s and Michelle’s home is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. Everything’s exactly what was in the description— all the amenities are well cared for and the attention to detail are well thought of. So you can also expect a luxurious and pleasant getaway for a reasonable price. Thank you again to you both for your warm hospitality! We’ve had perfect and relaxing weekend rest. We’ll for sure come back— a little longer stay next time.

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and well presented. Location is great enough out of the way to relax but close enough to lots of different things to do to keep the kids busy. Well equipped with everything you could need to make the stay easy and comfortable.

Loved this cottage - comfortable, cosy and clean, and a very generous welcome basket from the host. The location was fantastic with a great beach and dog friendly places to eat out in the village. It was also a good base to travel to other places in Northumberland for days out. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Quirky house in a great location. Diane was very attentive if we needed anything and for any questions we might have also lots of information of places to eat and visit in the area .

Exceptionally clean end of terrace cottage. Very well presented and comfortable. Lots of thought and care gone into this little cottage, it was lovely. The description did not mention the busy street location, but this was not an issue, inside was quiet as was the courtyard garden at the back.

Had a lovely stay here. Great location in the centre of the village but still peaceful. The house had everything we needed. Very friendly staff on the hotel reception. We would love to come back.

Beautiful cottage 5 mins from beach. Very clean and tidy, milk in fridge on arrival for a much needed cuppa. Good communication from Nick. Would stay again.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. We have just returned from a wonderful week at Hethpool. Eildon was a wonderful host. We would not hesitate in returning to Hethpool Cottage and intend to do so. I have already been singing its praises to colleagues

This was the perfect accommodation for us for our first holiday with a toddler. The house is immaculate and spacious with everything you could possibly need. The location is also ideal for being a stones throw away from so many things to do. Newbiggin beach is literally less than 2 minutes walk from the house, and is very pretty. Although for a toddler I would recommend one of the beaches slightly further up the coast for softer sand. Peter was a great host, clear instructions and quick responses to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! Umpires View was immaculate and beautiful. Short drives to lovely locations such as Alnwick and Banburgh. We would highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a cottage in a beautiful place. Loved the cottage so much - felt so homely and was a perfect place to venture off into the surrounding areas.

Priory Cottage was beautifully presented, with everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely to have a welcome basket as well as tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and cleaning items which is not the case at every property we've stayed at. The place was warm and cozy with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. Mark and Emma were both very friendly and welcoming when we met them and recommended a lot of places to visit which was great as we hadn't been to the area before. We had a lovely week in Northumberland and will definitely be coming back.

Windmill cottage is a lovely home from home. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided, including a welcome basket for us and our dog. The cottage is very roomy and our host, Claire, was very friendly and responsive. It’s location is great for accessing all of the Northumberland coastline and we enjoyed wonderful days out exploring the area. We would highly recommend Windmill Cottage and we hope to return. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking outside the house. The house is beautifully decorated, every thin you could need is supplied. Beds very comfortable and nice clean fresh bed linen and towels. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. All in all a lovely home, close to beach and easy access to other places of interest. Would recommend staying there
