The Roam Inn delivers Boho Glamping & Farm-Fun adventures at Big Cedars Farm. This camper travelled the Oregon Trail...yep, toured it, AND was featured on a blog...before she was set here-- nestled on the plateau we call Billy Goat Bluff. A "Tiny House" original, your memorable stay includes: friendly animal interactions, morning sunrises from our updated 1959 Dalton "Canned Ham," breathtaking views from the outdoor kitchen, electricity, water and even a hot shower at the hobbit-styled privy.

A shared backyard gives you room to enjoy the outdoors with backyard games and a firepit available weather permitting for some s'mores. The camper has a master bedroom, smaller bedroom with bunk beds, full bathroom, full kitchen, 2 recliners that can also be used for sleeping, a dining room table that hides away and turns into a full size bed. Lots of activities to enjoy in the area: hiking, biking, etc.

Go back in time in this stylishly remodeled 1978 Norfolk Southern Caboose Car with queen bed, futon, table for two and attached outside deck. The overnight stay in this lovely Caboose #1 includes a complimentary breakfast. Guests can enjoy 96-acres of beautiful mountain property and 4+ miles of hiking trails. In the Blue Ridge Mountains, a place where you can enjoy a beautiful comfortable camper where the doors open right onto a gorgeous deck that looks directly onto the New River. Hurricane Helene replaced grass for sand. You will be able to swim, fish, kayak, and go boating right off of our property, start a fire at night or just swing on the deck. We are a 5 minute drive from the New River Trail State Park, where you can hike, bike or walk along the river!

Papa's Retreat

Our renovated camper will make your stay so relaxing and memorable. You will surely enjoy the amentities and a peaceful mountain view. It is located right at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and easy access to "Mayberry" attractions. Some of the downtown experiences like: The Andy Griffith Museum, Andy Griffith home place, Wally's Service Station (& tours), Mayberry courthouse & jail, and "downtown" has many unique stores and places to eat.

The Caboose

A Romantic Retreat. This unique lodging experience is a renovated Norfolk & Western caboose. This cozy one bedroom accommodation has a bathroom with a separate shower room and satellite TV. For your comfort the gas fireplace and air conditioning units are controlled from within the room. Just outside the door is a creek side patio where you can sit and enjoy the soothing sounds of Pott's Creek.
