Great spot to get all the family together. Good sleepout. Lovely big lounge, kitchen, dining area. Good size bedrooms. Nice decks to spread out. Didn’t have time to use the sauna but that would have been a bonus. Everything there we needed.

Melissa honestly is the best host I’ve come across on Airbnb (and I’ve stayed at a few places). She was responsive, helpful and even left us goodies in the fridge :) The house was perfect for our needs as we worked at an event in the Bowl of Brooklands. Beds are firm, bathroom was clean and tidy and kitchen had most of the things we needed. Thank you for having us Melissa x

Tyler and Zoe really went above and beyond an air bnb hosts duties when it came to our stay. My 80yr old elderly mum checked in initially and was at the airbnb for a couple nights before other guests arrived. My mum had issues using her mobile and was unable to contact family in Australia or in NZ for help. But she was able to get a hold of Tyler who without hesitation went to the house to assist a very distressed elderly women. He offered to help organise food or anything that my mum needed and was very generous with his time and help. Shout out to the person boarding in the studio downstairs of the house who was so helpful in helping mum when she needed to go to hospital. The hospitality received from these hosts is truly remarkable and our family will be forever grateful for all the support for my mum. Thank you again x We will definitely rebook next time we are in the area, would highly recommend this stay.

This is a great place to base yourself for a few days in New Plymouth. Clean, has everything you need, very responsive hosts, clear instructions Very quiet area, friendly neighbours, not far to town and easy to get out of town for an adventure Definitely well worth the stay

The house and surrounding area were truly amazing. The house has a lot of space, including a spacious kitchen and the area around it was completely green, providing ample room for kids to enjoy.

Really nice place. Lots of space and very clean. It was easy to check in and a short drive to the center of town. Lots of nice welcome bits on arrival. Very quiet and the bedrooms were nice and dark at night. We overslept on the last day... Great place for a couple of couples or family.

Great stay, the atmosphere was great.. and it was great to wake up and go outside! Loved our stay.

Great location, handy to the local cafe's, pub and 4 Square for food shopping, only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Oakura beach, we particularly like the secure backyard since we had our 2 dogs, we were able to relax knowing they couldn't get out. Thank you Kate, Paul and Sally (their dog🐶😊) for a relaxing stay.

John and Brichelle were great hosts and were understanding with our slight alterations in our booking. I would stay again should the opportunity arise

Great place to stay. Each bedroom has an ensuite. Lounge and kitchen very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay with family. Lots of space for everyone. Very large deck that felt very safe for the children. Food at the restaurant was lovely. They also did room service which was wonderful. The ‘second living area’ in the photos was no where to be seen. Not sure if that photo has been posted by mistake 🤷🏼‍♀️ We also weren’t aware this property is actually part of a motel/lodge so when we arrived we weren’t sure where we were. It worked out really well though and everyone was great. The pool in the photos is part of the complex so it was quite busy at some points. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a vacuum cleaner in the room as this is not a serviced apartment and we had booked for 5 nights with children so we really could have used a vacuum 😅 Would definitely recommend this place to others. Really private with amazing views.

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

The apartment was excellent for our family of 3 generation's, great beds, good sized bedrooms and lots of bathrooms to accommodate 8 people easily. The apartment was bigger than I was expecting and the location was excellent with easy access to the waterfront with a skate park, basketball court, and bar area by the walking path and beach, all within mins of walking from the apartment. Having the apartment part of the lodge accommodation meant the guests who wanted restaurant breakfast or dinner could while others used the bbq and kitchen at the apartment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend this as a holiday option and will stay here again.

More than we expected! This place is huge and an amazing set up. Super close to everything too - we had a car with us but walked to the groceries, take aways, to the coastal walkway etc. would love to head back for another holiday!

I’ve visited New Plymouth three times, and this has been the best place we've ever stayed. Before check-in, Johannah provided clear instructions on how to find the key and messaged me to check if I had arrived. When we checked in, the house was spotless. She had left detailed instructions and some snacks, which made us feel very welcome. I brought my dog this time, and the spacious, private backyard was perfect—she had a wonderful time playing outside. We’ve had two beautiful stays in this home, and we’ll definitely be back next time!

Cheval and family were so welcoming and always making sure we were comfortable. He directed us to the gorgeous little duck pond on the farm and when and where to go to see the glow worms on the farm. As it was on a farm we got to interact with the lovely duck, goats and chickens. we had a dog but she is very friendly with other animals. So I would advise make sure your dog is friendly as the duck gets to roam free in the garden. We loved the experience, definately our sort of stay. Thank you Cheval and family.

We absolutely loved our time at Evan’s place. He was a great host, super friendly and helpful. He was kind enough to take us on his trap walk (took him a bit longer than it would have usually) and we really appreciated that. Stunning bush and magical views. The farm was great for daily walks and exploring. We loved seeing and talking to the cows and giving lots of pats to George the super friendly ram. This is a place we would definitely consider returning to. Thanks heaps Evan.

急なお願いにも臨機応変に対応してくれてとても助かりました。キッチン、リビングやメインの寝室などは2階にありそこからの眺めは本当に最高で、毎日の日の出と日の入りの時間が楽しみでした。夜の星空もとても綺麗でした。 朝晩は夏でも涼しいくらいですが、日中から日没までの日差しは厳しく、家の中も暑く感じる時がありますが、窓ガラスにフィルターが貼ってあったり、置き型の冷房もあるので快適に過ごせます。 オーナーとその家族も敷地内にいて、フレンドリーで安心して過ごすことができました。思い出に残り良い滞在になりました。

Elle's Bungalow was a nice home away from home. Had everything we needed and was very spacious for the five of us. It is also close to attractions, restaurants etc. The back deck is lovely on a sunny day to relax and hang out with family. We would happily stay here again.
