The Perch is perfect for a cozy getaway. Really feels like a home away from home. You can easily spend your days just enjoying the perch and all it has to offer, as well as go out and explore all the great surrounding areas! Walking around downtown New Milford and lounging by the lake were big highlights of our stay. We never had a dull moment! Casey is such a great host, always communicative and helpful. Her guides have everything you need to know and even have great recommendations for things in the nearby areas. We loved our stay!

Our stay at Vanessa's house was tranquil and picturesque. The washing machine broke down a few days before our arrival, but Vanessa remained on top of it, and made sure it was in working order before we checked in, which we appreciated tremendously. We couldn't beat the view of the water and only wish it had been a bit warmer so that we could have appreciated the gorgeous back porch area. Thank you, Vanessa!

My reservation at another property was mysteriously cancelled 3 days before my family's wedding. After 24 hours of back and forth with Airbnb, Mary saved the day and worked with myself and airbnb to get me rebooked into her amazing family home. She was an angel!

Very nice location, plus some cardio getting up hill, hehe. We felt that for that week, the house was ours. Wish we could see the beautiful surroundings in summer or the height of autumn.

FLAWLESS!!!!! Beautiful house over looking the lake, with good taste, spotless and cozy. We were a group of 8 friends celebrating that 3 of us turned 50, we had an amazing time chilling out in the garden, having great conversations, eating and laughing in that beautiful house. Gianna was very responsive and the house looks exactly as the pictures. There’s not much privacy in the garden because there’s no fence but no one was there so we had a great time. We definitely recommend it and would love to be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jonathan’s place, especially because he allowed us to bring our dogs! Comfortable furniture, cool location across from the marina, and a peaceful backyard. Thank you!!

This is a very nice property right on the water. Very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Amenities and sports equipment are as described in the listing. Highly recommended. Very responsive host. We would happily stay again when in the area.

We had such a great long weekend! We brought our family with kids ranging from 1-11 years old and each had a blast, lake was easy to access and gorgeous! House was exactly as described! House and neighborhood were peaceful, relaxing, and clean! Kitchen had everything needed. My kids are already asking to come back!

We had a fantastic stay! Johanna and her husband were extremely friendly, helpful, and graciously hospitable. We felt very welcomed. They were very responsive to a few requests we had and even made up a futon as an extra bed when asked about sleeping arrangements for my family of five. We had a great time roasting s’mores over a campfire by the pond and my son caught his first fish. Great memories! On our next visit to Fairfield, this will be the first rental I will be looking for.

Home had a beautiful view of the lake! Everything was spotless on arrival. Couldn’t have asked for more for a weekend getaway in CT!

The house was exactly as listed. Our group was two adults and 3 kids. The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals, bake cookies and make milkshakes. The beds were comfy. The showers were hot with good water pressure for all. We would stay here again!

The location suited our needs perfectly. It was close to our Jehovah’s Witness facility in Patterson NY. We had a morning tour which made it very convenient, only 20 minutes away. We not only enjoyed the peaceful quietness, we were also able to do a little fishing at the boat docks right on the property of Candlewood Isle and caught a few fish.☺️

This place is sublime. Beautifully furnished and styled, this is possibly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Feels much more like a home than a rental. Serene and quiet with a deck and stone terrace overlooking the pond, the sounds of the waterfall, birds and the wind in the trees are perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing stay. The expansive living room, dining area and kitchen flow well together and make for a fantastic social space with direct access to the terrace. And the whole place is a delightful blend of historic charm and modern living. The open fireplaces add a whole other level of charm. The kitchen is also really well equipped with a good array of spices, condiments Rd nets and more for anyone looking to cook (which we did). Erin is also a great host. Highly responsive and very helpful. We were a party of 5 and we all agreed we want to return.

The cottage was just as described and what you see in the photos is what you get. Hector was very responsive when I reached out to him. It was very comfortable and clean. Looking forward to being back and shared the listing with friends and family.

Such a beautiful home with lots of open space and quiet rooms, great for both hosting friends or finding a comfy place to sit and read. 10 min drive to beautiful downtown New Milford, it was the great place to rest and relax. Simple, yet has every thing you would want and/or need. I would definitely stay again!

This was a great location for our family of 7. There were enough beds, good amenities, and it was a great location to get down to the Connecticut River. It was centrally located and we were able to explore many cities in CT due to the location. The hosts were extremely responsive and the home was well-maintained.

The house is well maintained. It has an unreal view of the lake that is so serene. A very quiet area.

Beautiful traditional lake house! Very well stocked kitchen - everything you could want! Very cool wall art (pictures / paintings), knick-knacks, historical pictures / maps, books in every nook and cranny! Great for large families- items to accommodate both old and very young! Many board games, instruments, and a ping-pong table! And, of course, the yard and lake view were astonishing! The lake itself was clean and weed-free with very easy access. The boat house was convenient and well stocked. We swam, used the canoe, kayak, life vests, pool noodles, and kids' toys (all supplied by the host) and brought our own paddle boards as well. The lake is huge, but the location felt very private. Most times the lake traffic seemed relatively lite. Overall, an awesome experience - highly recommended! We did not have any issues to report with the house, but our host (Mitch) was always very responsive and helpful through booking, check-in, and departure - much appreciated!

Geaninna’s home was beautiful. My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The view to the lake while it was snowing was such a beauty, it was a peaceful stay. We look forward to booking again in the future. Geaninna was a great host, friendly and responded quickly.

This area is where I grew up, and I love East Hampton. I return 2-3x a year, and this was the best visit we’ve had come by home in a long time. It was worth the price, even though it was off season and we spent a lot of time visiting family over the holiday. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, it was better than we expected! A lot of work went into this place and it really shows. Parking was sparse but we worked everything out. (Our travel plans required us to pull a car trailer at the last minute.) Our hosts were very accommodating with our dog, which is very much appreciated. Wonderful experience. We’d love to return!

Great place for our family visit.

Beautiful accommodations in a very convenient location! Right near the wedding we traveled to attend. We all enjoyed family meals in the spacious dining area and had plenty of room to cook together. Our family loves the out doors and the small pond, abundant trees and fire pit were a real plus! Highly recommend this Airbnb 🤓
