You may even see donkeys walking along the High Street! The cottage has a very spacious ground floor with an open kitchen/large dining area plus a cosy lounge where you can enjoy the log burner.

Attached to a beautiful farm house, and set within the New Forest National Park, the Bolt Hole offers a wonderful place to relax. Enjoy the hot tub and take in the garden and paddock views. Rose Cottage is set within the grounds of a private estate. The New Forest National Park where the animals roam freely, is just outside of our gate. Enjoy watching deer, rabbits, birds, and an abundance of other forest wildlife visit the grounds. You will also notice that the New Forest ponies, donkeys, and pigs are regular visitors. This self-catering Luxury Cottage has all the comfort needed to enjoy a fantastic holiday within the New Forest National Park.

The cottage is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.
