Oakbrook Akers Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the pond, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

You will be within walking distance of 2 National Landmarks (Mark Twain Cave, Cameron Cave) as well as our Winery and Giftshop. Located just two miles from Hannibal's Historic District.

Traveling for work or pleasure? Enjoy a peaceful country view while relaxing on the front porch. This home sits on 14 acres, just off US Highway 61. Guests will see deer roaming in the yard early morning and at night. This rental accommodates families traveling with children or the couple seeking a quiet retreat. Stay here while you visit family and friends in the area. It is a short drive to Vandalia, Louisiana, Hannibal or Mark Twain Lake. (40 Min). About one hour from St. Louis.

The house comes furnished with seating, furniture, and 2 Roku televisions. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a dining room, living room, and a kitchen. The home has central air conditioning and heating, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a beautiful clawfoot cast-iron tub with shower. There is off street parking.
