In more recent years it has been a friends & family suite, utilized as the perfect staging area for skiing, mountain biking & playing at the lake. Now all guests can experience this hidden gem. The kitchen, sofa, dining table, & bunk beds provide guests with more comforts than a standard hotel room. Adventure lovers are delighted by the authentic art & mountain décor adorning the studio. The West River House is a an affordable historic hotel in downtown Truckee - walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the river. It’s perfect for those looking to explore and relax without distractions. Although there is no TV, the free Wi-Fi is super fast. There are photos for 2 different rooms in the post. Only 1 of these rooms is available per reservation. Smoking and pets are not permitted.

Pet Friendly One Bedroom 23-25 | Lodge

Featuring partial lake views, a king bed in a separate room. Shower/tub combo with a Thermo-Masseur tub. The kitchen has custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, two burner electric stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. The living room has a queen La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa & a dog bed. These are on the first floor with 8 stairs and is approx. 435 sq ft. Max 2 dogs max weight 50 lbs. Pets must never be left unattended. Please clean up after your pet. Max 4 guests. Non-smoking property.

Duplex One Bedroom 16 – 18 | Cabin

Featuring a king bed in a separate bedroom. A shower w massage jets. The living room has a La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa, A/C and central heating. A stocked kitchen with gas stove, full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, granite counter-tops. These cabins are approx. 355 sq ft and share one wall. This cabin is located on the ground floor with three stairs. Max four guests. Please count children in the total number of guests. No pets allowed in this room, no extra guests, non-smoking property.
