We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Our boys loved the upstairs room with the two twin beds (although if they were smaller I might have worried about them on the stairs, as there is no railing for the last several steps). We loved the cozy fireplace and the hot tub, and enjoyed not having to use our car at all once we arrived— plenty to see and do in walking distance, including a nice park for the dog and kids. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay! We wish we could’ve stayed a couple extra nights to explore the area more. The house was super clean and the surroundings were so quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful ,quiet surroundings . House was large and open design and had books, games, tv and a fire pit. The family saw deer wile drinking our coffee and made s’mores in the evening. Wish we had more time there. Would love to do this again and stay longer. Thank you for letting us stay at you wonderful home.

Had a great relaxing stay, the host had a lot of Amazon packages delivered but overall it was great.

Our last minute one night booking on an epic road trip through Northern California made for great memories drinking wine and watching the sunset from the deck, enjoying some quiet time in the hot tub underneath a beautiful oak tree, and trying to identify constellations in the clear night sky. My only wish is that we were able to stay longer, make some fancy coffees with all their gadgets, and use the firepit to its full s’mores potential! Make sure you stop at the store before you arrive- but after that everything you need is at this adorable Airbnb!

My girlfriends and I had a lovely time in NV City over the Easter weekend. Everything was perfect:the weather, our tour of Empire Mine, visiting GV and NV City, and our time at the Tulip Festival. This home was perfect for the 5 of us and we hope to return soon. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!

the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! It's so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. There are also nice hiking trails nearby! The hosts were super friendly. I was greeted when I got to their property, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was so quaint and comfortable! I recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway!

This is a beautiful place to stay and I would say better than expected. Everything was very clean, the furnishings were beautiful and relaxing... and there was fruit, scones and croissants waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. The bed and bedding was very comfortable upstairs with a cute kitchen and dinette downstairs. Bri met us at the door when we arrived to give us the key. My best friend and I travel together and enjoy trying out new places. I highly recommend staying here :)

This was our second visit. We love the setting, the view of the mountains and the place itself! The space is so open, light and very clean. The mini split and ceiling fan kept the bedroom very comfortable. Sleeping temperature was good for us and the unit was quiet! There is a fairly new kitchenette stocked with everything we needed for making coffee, tea and breakfast. You could cook dinner there too, if you want, but we chose to dine out. Merry is very friendly and accommodating. She checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed, as well as providing a list of trails and another for restaurants and entertainment options. We highly recommend Merry’s Garden Suite for anyone visiting Nevada City!

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. Paul’s place is spacious and inviting. The quiet woodsy location was serene but still accessible to town and our daughter was absolutely bananas for the zip line!

Great condo for our family of 4. Very clean and cozy. Owner put lots of thoughts in the house appliances and decoration. 5 min walk to library, grocery store, pizza, movie and restaurants.

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed in the same unit (H). We are very familiar with the area, having previously owned a home just a few miles away. The unit is very convenient to Apple Hill and downtown Placerville, with a variety of stores and restaurants, minutes away. Though convenient to the freeway, unrelenting traffic noise can puta dent in the otherwise very peaceful surroundings. More so during summer months when windows or door may be open for fresh air, or relaxing on the small balcony with a glass of wine. Maybe other units (A, B, C, and D) being a little further away may be a little quieter but the covered parking with units E- H more than compensate IMO. Much nicer to get into a cool car, especially during hot summer days. The condo itself is equipped with everything you may need for kitchen use but I find the couches and seating could be more comfortable. The TV programming is via apps, which is okay but I used my iPad for up to the minute news.

I loved my stay at Susan’s! Was very easy to locate and get inside. Susan was responsive and the description of the stay was accurate. Great location with a trail running behind it.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Directions to the lockbox were specific, the penthouse was very clean and welcoming. The location is within walking distance to many great restaurants. Our welcome book from the host, Douglas was super helpful. We would absolutely stay there again the next time we’re in town. Thank you Douglas for being such a gracious host!
