Suzanne is a wonderful host! She is so kind, attentive to the needs of her guests. I am touched by her caring spirit. The cottage will always hold a special place in my heart.

My wife and I had a gat stay. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked as well as bathroom supplies. I would.definitely stay there again.

This is a comfortable, spacious and private cottage. I was able to relax, cook dinner, and sleep well. The decor is beautiful and there was a sweet little seasonal bouquet in a vase on the dining table to welcome me when I arrived. Hosts are responsive, accommodating and friendly. The WiFi was fast and reliable which was important for my work trip!

I loved staying at Kathryn’s place. Quiet location with peaceful surroundings. Loved the deck out back. My 6 y/o loved listening to the frogs out by the pond at night. Location was perfect. A short drive to Nevada City or downtown Grass Valley. Colfax is close too. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay! Highly Recommend! This cottage was perfect for my work trip to Grass Valley. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. The location is great, just a short drive to downtown and walk-able as well. The bottle of wine left for me was a thoughtful and much-enjoyed touch. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Exquisite and serene! The hermitage was exactly what I was hoping for... a quite place in nature to unwind. I went in the winter and even though it was storming outside it was so cozy and warm inside. There was space to practice yoga, to sit and read, write and draw, as well as be surrounded by peaceful, healing energy. This is especially great for artists who want to be in an inspiring space to write, paint, or connect with their muse without distractions. The meals that Hiroko made were so nourishing - I loved all the different flavors and fresh ingredients. If you have a chance to have a tea ceremony with MJ or a massage with Hiroko, I highly recommend it! The Jade Valley Zen Nature Hermitage is a true gem for anyone wanting to unplug from technology and into the ancient wisdom of nature.

Stayed here for a few nights & it’s was great! The place was super cozy & quiet. Everything was listed accordingly & was perfect for a couple. Definitely will be coming back here! (:

It was a a very nice, peaceful and clean home. New plush linens. Responsive host! About 10 minutes from dining and grocery store. Washer and dryer was a huge plus! Downtown is quaint as was Nevada City. Recliners were comfortable. It does have a workspace with USB and plugs that doubles as a breakfast bar. It does have a privacy entrance gate which must be manually opened and closed. Easy for a couple. The bed was large but on the soft side if that matters. One of the best we’ve stayed at in terms of space, privacy, and amenities. We’d stay again.

Ian and Mila were lovely hosts- friendly, helpful and responsive. Their pup Barkley was so sweet and friendly and we were so happy to get to meet him. Would definitely return!

Very simple but well furnished place. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Grass Valley and Nevada City have a small town feel with unlimited hiking and outdoor activities.

I came to this place leaving a toxic relationship. And I just recently achieved 30 days sobriety. I tell you just because maybe someone out there is like me and needs some help. Once I walked into the room, I was just checking back by how peaceful it was and the vibration was all about healing. Joy was nothing short of amazing as far as communication. It turns out she’s a holistic therapist as well. Her husband was a cool guy and her son was friendly too. And their dog is rad just a cool dog and my dog Scarlet and he played together for a little bit and it was cool. I really needed this place and I look forward to staying here again when I need to just go somewhere decompress I would recommend a spot to anybody. And if you like books, there’s so many books to read I mean it’s awesome and I’ve been a great job of building out the room to look amazing and feel amazing. Don’t hesitate to grab this up if you need to.

Needed a place in familiar neighborhood, close to town but quieter. Jessica’s place had it. Tranquil room and furnishings decluttered my mind. Very modern with all necessities I needed. Comfortable bed, couch and spacious. I usually watch TV but I enjoyed the quiet a lot. Enjoyed taking daily walks too. Thanks Jessica. Would definitely stay again.

My stay was perfect! Abigail’s place was exceptional. She has thought out everything you need to make it a perfect home and space. Quiet, comfortable, safe.

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming mountain Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the cozy cabin felt like a home away from home. A peaceful spot with breathtaking views, it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Sean the host is very chill, friendly, and down-to-earth, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Along side with his friendly dogs. The mountain views were breathtaking, and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to unwind. I can’t wait to come back!

Lorrie’s place exceeded all of our expectations! It was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and every detail was clearly thought out with the guests in mind. From the comfortable furnishings to the little touches that made our stay extra special, it was clear how much care and effort went into creating such a welcoming space. Well that was just a delight! I loved staying here with my son, and hope to return with the whole family. Incredible location just a couple blocks from “downtown” Nevada City, but so private and serene. Great layout with a spacious living room/kitchen with gorgeous light from the skylights and then a good sized bedroom with king bed. My tween son loved the bunk beds in the large walk in closet, felt cozy and cool. Tracey was a lovely host and was responsive to all my questions.

Great cottage for a peaceful vacation. It is right in the middle of the natur. Cottage itself was nice and cozy with all the basic amenities, me and my family really enjoyed it. Heidi was communicative throughout the stay. We will definitely visit again in the summer

I had a great stay and hope to stay at this AirBnB again in the future. I loved the beautiful trees on the property and listening to bird song. The place was very clean and comfortable.

This cabin is such a peaceful getaway. It sits at the top of a hill, and although the property owners are in a nearby home, it was almost like they weren't there. If you want to get away from people and crowds and the city, this is the spot. The host was very responsive and helpful. All in all, a positive experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Barbara was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The place was very pretty and comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a nice little table to eat on the porch overlooking the trees. It was a quiet and peaceful place.

I can’t emphasis enough how lovely Richard and Julie’s place is, nor how lovely they are. From booking through checkout they were perfectly attentive, but never remotely burdensome, in their communication. From laying out a curated selection of records, to the pristine and serene home, to allowing us to love on their dogs, everything was so perfect. Traveling with tween boys is always an adventure, Richard & Julie made us feel right at home. This is our absolute favorite Airbnb to date!
