Everything was perfect and as described..location was ideal and right next to the complex with space for two cars which was great. The facilities in the bungalow were great and having two toilets was worth it. There was an issue with trying to get hot water in the shower where David was rapid in his response, the water did still go cold every now and again but nothing major. Great stay, great communication and will 100% be back for sure. 5 stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the blankets so we felt cozy on the sofa at night and the beds were so comfortable. There were plenty of spaces to park and there is easy access to the beach. A great place for sea glass hunters or if you just want to watch a beautiful sunset. We would definitely recommend Chad’s place. Thank you for a great stay.

Really lovely house in the absolute ideal location. Clean, comfortable and a very high standard. Alison was friendly and there were plenty of instruction manuals, leaflets about the local area, etc. so we felt very at home straight away. Thanks for a great weekend.

Absolutely spotless, so clean and tidy. Lots of extra bedding, blankets and sheets. The caravan smelt so lovely and was very well equipt with lots of plates, glasses, cutlery and everything we needed!! There were 2 adults and 6 children and we had lots of space! Diane was a great host and we cant wait to stay again!

Lovely stay at Powfoot over Christmas. Carolyn had very kindly put up lights and a Christmas tree for us which was extra special - thank you. Excellent instructions and detailed information about the house and the surrounding area. Also to highlight to take care on the mud flats when the tide is coming in. We enjoyed visits to Mabie Forest, Drumlanrig and Caerlaverock castles all recommended even on an atmospheric (wet!) December day!

We had an amazing weekend at Garry’s place. There’s lots to do in the area but we couldn’t think of a good reason to leave. The property is right on the beach which was very much enjoyed by children and the dog. The house is really well equipped. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy. Lots of space for 4 adults two children and a dog.

Me and my partner celebrated our anniversary at Susan's place. The accommodation was cozy, clean and welcoming. We had everything we could ever need and we felt right at home. The hot tub was perfect treat after a long hike. Carsethorn is a beautiful and peaceful little village and it was a shame to have to end our trip.

We all appreciated the decor and facilities offered in this lovely home just 5 minutes walk from the sea. The accommodation was as described. The kitchen/dining room was particularly welcoming with the large table and modern appliances. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated as was your willingness to let us get in early. We would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Just got home after an amazing 4 days at this beautiful property! Stunning inside but then wow, when you come to the decked area, had to pinch myself everyday! Watched deer feeding when having early morning brew and the views continue to be breathtaking to sunset. Very good food and service at site pub but for fellow seafood lovers, highly recommend Hooked restaurant, ellerthwaite square, short car journey or taxi ride away. Walkable to Bowness on Windermere (a good hour with 4 legged sniffy friends) and Cockshott point is a must see. We were very lucky with weather, plus were the only occupants on the lakeside facing lodges so tranquil and private. Did not want to leave so consoled myself by rebooking for next year! Thanks Jo and Paddy and look forward to coming back!

We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

what a great air b&b . clean and tidy . we had an issue which was our right within hours. everything was explained in the texts we sent and received . can't rave to much about van, sie ,area and host. what a sea view.

a beautiful caravan, giving us a comfortable 2 night stay. The location is remote, perfect for peaceful coastal walks and a day trip into Morcambe. Just what the doctor ordered. The caravan was well equipped with cleaning products, toilet rolls, towels, games, blankets etc they even had hot water bottles! we had all that we needed for a great stay and would definitely book again. Had a great stay in a cosy and comfortable flat with a sea view. Well appointed flat and clean with everything you'll need. Easy off-street parking onsite. Chris is a good communicator and very helpful. Highly recommended place to stay.

We were lucky enough to have the weather to watch two amazing sunsets from the decking of the chalet. Gary’s directions were straightforward so it’s really easy to find the property. The chalet is cosy, clean and warm. The location is excellent and the steps down to the beach are right next to the chalet. Gary was really attentive and the marshmallows that he left for us to roast along with the bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my partner’s birthday were a very welcome touch.

I cannot recommend Gillian’s beautiful home highly enough, my partner and I booked it as a very last minute trip for new year with our two kids and it was just brilliant. Even in the typical Scottish weather the views were lovely and when the sun was shining it was stunning. The home has everything in it that you could possibly need and is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped and was spacious enough to cook as well as being a social area. We decided to book again as soon as we’d arrived! Thank you Gillian x

Fantastic stay at the sea cubby! A perfect place to recharge and relax, with amazing views, wildlife and lovely accommodation. It was a perfect size for us. Additionally, the cubby has been kitted out with helpful items that you need whilst away - tea, coffee, lovely linen and plenty of great local recommendations which we tried out. The place was super cosy as well considering the coastal location. Would love to come back.

Clean and comfortable little cottage with a wonderful, dog friendly garden. Sharon didn't leave lots of 'rules' about our dog, which was great and which ensured we treated her place with respect eg the dog didnt go upstairs and we were scrupulous about cleaning up after her. The set up regarding the house next door perhaps needs clarification as we weren't sure which garden furniture to use or whether our dog had access to the whole garden. The kitchen is bright and clean and equipped to an okay standard, although some serving bowls would be useful.

We spent a family Easter in this lovely house. Great spot, comfortable for a family with young children, beautiful area with lots to do nearby. The house is well appointed and cosy. It’s quiet and has a lovely garden with birdfeeder and lots of chairs in sunny spots. Highly recommend!
