We had a large group stay for 2 nights, and found that the communal spaces worked really well. We appreciated having enough space for people to sit and eat together, with a separate lounge area that was similarly big enough for everyone to comfortably gather. The beds were comfortable, and the flexibility of the layout was appreciated. We had a nice meal out that was only 10mins drive away, and enjoyed the nice walks in the area. Communication from the host was responsive. There is only one small parking space at the property but there was plenty of on-street parking within close proximity.

our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

This is a beautiful, spacious cottage with everything you could need for a few days away. We all enjoyed relaxing at the cottage in between trips out, the upstairs living space has lovely views and ample space for family meals, cosy reading corners and lots of streaming services to log into. There’s a lovely pub next door that does stone fired pizzas, shops within walking distance and dog walks accessible from the door. The Rivelin valley walks are a few minutes drive away and are great for couples, families and dogs. Sheffield is accessible within 15 mins in the car, great food halls, craft beer places, cute brunch spots and much more. The Peak District for walking and visiting cute villages, outdoor pools and caverns is also within 15-30 minutes. A great place to stay and so much space

The perfect cosy place to stay to explore the Peak District. The barn is a lovely clean space with all of the amenities you could needed. It’s in the most beautiful location with shops close by for any essentials.

As a large group of 24 people this accommodation was the perfect set-up. The surroundings are beautiful and a very convenient distance from Sheffield city centre. Debbie was an excellent host - very responsive and friendly and thoroughly helpful in helping with the logistical arrangements with a large group (for example helping with taxi’s or offering their minibus service) which was massively appreciated. It was wonderful to learn about how revenue from this accommodation is reinvested into charitable activities for getting young people involved in outdoor pursuit activities.

The house is small with steep stairs, exactly as described. Perfect for two people! It was also extremely clean. Despite being close to a very busy main road, it was surprisingly quiet and parking on road outside the front door was a definite bonus. Rachel is very helpful, responding quickly to any queries and when I mentioned we are vegetarian, she immediately provided a veggie breakfast option. Indeed, all the food provided was high quality and much appreciated. Half an hour walk into the centre of Sheffield but tram stop 5 minutes away, as is a shopping centre with supermarket. It is therefore ideally situated. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and will hope to stay again next time we're in Sheffield.

Good size, clean ,good layout , only annoyance was that it has has off street parking but unable to access but parking on street not a problem

We absolutely loved our stay at Philip’s air bnb and will definitely be returning! It was a long journey for us to get there; he was kind and flexible about check in time. Philip was there for our arrival to show us everything and answer any questions. He also left a lovely welcome basket with a few bits to get us started and milk in the fridge. The heating was on so the house was warm. The whole house was absolutely spotless. There was everything you need in the kitchen. The beds and towels were comfy and clearly freshly washed. The bathroom and kitchen had consistently hot water; the shower had excellent pressure. The house is done beautifully and we loved the open planned living area downstairs. Thank you so much, Philip.

Great stay! We had a wonderful weekend getaway here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to comfortable beds. The location is also great — about an hour’s drive to Peak District National Park, which was perfect for exploring the area. The only small downside was the TV. While Netflix was available, the TV itself is quite old and not an Android TV, so the interface was very laggy, making it tricky to use Netflix or YouTube smoothly. Overall though, highly recommend this place for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Would definitely consider coming back!

The house is located in a wonderful location, near Endcliffe Park for the outdoors and Ecclesall Road for restaurants and shops. The house was perfectly located for all our needs. The house is just as described. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more As mentioned, the stairs are steep, although we managed perfectly well with two active toddlers. On the whole, a wonderful house in an incredible location in Sheffield.

A beautiful home with off-road parking. Had the air of a hotel spa as soon as walked in. Was ideal for our family overnight stay.

We recently booked The Old Rectory on behalf of a group, and it exceeded all expectations. Steve and Gill were outstanding hosts – incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure everything was in place for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The property is a real gem and offers incredible value for money. It’s beautifully presented, spacious, and perfect for group celebrations like hen parties. The new hot tub was a big highlight, and the outdoor pizza oven made for a fun and memorable evening – our group loved their pizza night in the garden! It’s always a pleasure to work with hosts who genuinely care, and Steve and Gill went above and beyond. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again for future groups (we already have another group booked for July!) Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Iain's place. Felt right at home and in a great location close to Sheffield, Meadowhall and Crystal Peaks. If you like hiking and running the Rother Valley is right on the doorstep. Iain was always very helpful and responded within minutes if we had any queries. I can recommend this place to anyone that needs a nice place to stay for a few days, weeks or as in our case months.

Second time we have stayed at Jack's house. Great house, excellent host, and in a very convenient location.

We used this lovely home while waiting for the purchase of our new home to complete, we wanted somewhere in Chesterfield that was going to feel like a home and be comfortable while I’m undergoing chemo, Winston’s home ticked every box and our 2 dogs and 2 house cats definitely approved, the garden is secure and safe, parking outside was perfect, we couldn’t have picked a better property, even suppling a Christmas tree and decorations made it that much more special, thank you 🙏

Frances lovely home was amazing! We didnt want to leave it was that nice, it was immaculate, the beds were super comfortable and it felt homely as it had personal touches everywhere. Loved the fact it had off road parking, the garden was beautiful and very well kept and all in all it was an amazing home to spend arw little getaway in.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful property. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable and the views are just stunning. It has everything you could possibly need to feel right at home with lots of extra little touches which made our stay all the more comfortable.
