Cosy 2-Bedroom Cottage With Breathtaking Views

Delightfully situated in the stunning North Pennines (AONB), mid-point on the C2C. Only 1/4 mile walk through the fields, is the quaint Garrigill village. Just 4 miles to the cobbled streets of Alston heritage town, you'll find country pubs, restaurants, an Artisan Bakery and an array of independent shops. Cosying up with you pup? The Rookery

This 400 year old coach house was built around the turn of the 1600's. It has quirky uneven walls, beams made from sailing ships that travelled the world, and a pretty courtyard garden. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with mini fridge, microwave kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things and a large container for you to leave your dishes out for me. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture because I find the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.

A lovely purpose built annexe, with fitted kitchen to include washing machine,dishwasher,refridgerator,oven/hob and microwave.Lounge has TV with dvd,books and games,wi-fi,sofa-bed and French doors to garden with garden chairs/table and BBQ.The bedroom has a superking sized bed that can be unzipped and unlinked to make two singles if required and built-in wardrobes.Bathroom has shower over bath with basin and W.C.The property has underfloor heating and secure outside storage for bicycles etc.

A detached stone cottage in the heart of the north Pennines. Stunning views. With fantastic footpaths, cycle routes straight from the door for those with plenty of energy as it is hilly. Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

We are a 5 minute drive to Alston (petrol, gift shops, pubs, pub food, home made gifts, spa/co-op, mini railway, bike hire, C2C, fishing, cycling). The Lake District, the Borders and the North East are just a drive away. The new build apartment sleeps 4 in 2 upstairs bedrooms (microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher, tv, DVD, wifi, parking, bike store). There’s a stunning view from every window including the shower room, there is no bath. We’re very rural the WiFi can be somewhat unreliable.

In the heart of the North of England you will find our accommodation set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The rooms we offer have been designed with the explorer in mind, to use a base to explore the local surrounding area, the Lake District, Northumberland and Durham. We have had guests walking the Isaacs Tea Trail as well as cyclists doing the C2C. After a long day exploring the local area return to refresh yourself in our spacious bathroom complete with underfloor heating.

The Nook Holiday Cottage - Alston AONB

The Nook is a beautiful 17th Century detached stone cottage, refurbished to modern standards whilst retaining period charm. Located in the countryside, a short walk away from Alston's town centre which includes a pub, cafe and some shops. Perfect for a relaxing break in an area of outstanding natural beauty, lots of scenic walks from the doorstep. Private garden with a hot tub, a perfect way to view the stars on a clear night. Cosy up in front of the log burner in the spacious lounge.

Isaac's Cottage

This beautiful cottage is located in the peaceful town of Allendale and is only a 2 minute walk to pubs & shops. This cottage has been refurbished to the highest standard and was designed specifically for the holiday rental market with Hadrians wall on our door step. It boasts a large kitchen, a cosy living area, 2 double bedrooms and a walk-in shower room. On street parking is free and there is a patio area to the rear of the property which is ideal for a sunny day.

Braeside Cottage is a cosy private space in peaceful surroundings centrally located for the amenities of Hexham. An ideal base for exploring both Hexham and the surrounding Tynedale Valley famous for its Roman history including Hadrian's Wall and Vindolanda, or visit Kielder Forest with its world renowned dark skies and observatory. You will have your own private outdoor area with seating, fire pit and BBQ. Private off road parking provided. Pets are welcome.

This cosy property has it's own private spa. Newly built for 2024, the spa area forms the entrance to the property featuring 2 seat hot tub, rainwater shower and feature original stone wall with lantern roof window. This beautiful hideaway is completely hidden from view, overlooking rolling velvet farmland of the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty and has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with attention to design and detail.
