We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

From Llangynidr you have the canal which offers an easy walk either way and Tor y foel mountain.

Set in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this canal side spacious property (with en-suite) is set back from the road and offers tranquility. A great range of walks including Pen y Fan can be started from the front door. The traditional local pub (CAMRA award winner) is less than 150 metres away and serves a great variety of dishes. The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal & between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & is heated by our new & efficient heat pump system.

Our cosy but contemporary 4 * graded Mill Cottage is over 180 yrs old. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. You will love it in this quiet, friendly village. Easy access to everything. Surrounded by Mountains, Canals, Lakes, Market Towns and Activity Centres. Two local pubs and a shop in walking distance. Great place for couples or a small family having a King Size bedroom and a Day bed on bedroom/landing. Just be aware you have to walk through this bedroom to access the main bedroom.
