Our island location necessitates a strict cancellation policy (ours mirrors the Nantucket Lodging Association's). Due to occasional weather related ferry/plane service interruptions, we highly recommend travel insurance (please see below for cancellation/travel insurance details). Six weeks prior to arrival, we will email you a list of our favorite restaurants with links to menus and reviews. For high season restaurant reservations, when possible, please contact us four to five weeks prior to your arrival. We are happy to make your reservations. Our check-in time is normally 3 p.m. However if you arrive early and your room is not ready, we will be happy to store your luggage. Check-out time is 11 a. m. All rooms have hair dryers and beach bags with towels, bottled water, and magazines. We are a non-smoking inn. Don't hesitate to contact us to help plan your visit to the island. Best Harbor Views-50' sailboat

Swimming off the back of the boat in this warm weather is a great way to cool off and start or end your day. The water is just cool enough to make it interesting and refreshing for the first few minutes! Then breakfast in the cockpit with a good pitcher of just pressed hot coffee, toasted bagels and croissants with jam and maybe some fruit on the side. Then off to shore to explore all Nantucket has to offer...a short launch ride lands you on Straight Wharf, the downtown marina and Main St.

Look forward to sharing my peace of heaven with you all...1st floor bedroom with queen bed. Private full bath next to bedroom. Enjoy the quiet less traveled dirt lane one mile from historic Main Street . Bike paths around the corner lead to beaches, farms, and local brewery. We do have a very friendly cat, Annie Oakley, who spends some time indoors to say hello.

Nantucket Suite - Carlisle House

Grande master suite with private garden entrance and patio with Adirondack chairs. Large sitting room with queen sofabed, entertainment center with 49" flat-screen HDTV , free wifi, window A/Cs in living room and bedroom, wet bar with fridge and Keurig. King bedroom, private bath. 'It was like our own cottage on-island.'

Madaket Suite - Carlisle House

Third floor master suite with king-size bed, stunning pine floors, sitting room with full-size sofabed. Free wifi, HDTV in sitting room and bedroom, window A/C. Newly renovated detached private bath(a few steps outside the suite, but private)with large tiled shower. Quiet retreat.
