'Cwtyn' - a Cute Country Cottage

Cwtyn is a detached,stone built former swill house,used to prepare pig feed in the 19th century. It has been converted into a cosy self-catering cottage whilst retaining the original stone fireplace and slate hearth. It is now an open-plan space,compact and practical, with bathroom, kitchen, log burner,TV and Wi-Fi. Outdoors there is an enclosed space,slate patio,seating,fantastic views and private parking. Rural,peaceful and unique - a great base for exploring Snowdonia,Anglesey and Lleyn.

Only 15 mins from the nearest beach, with Portmadog, Criccieth and Pwllheli within easy reach. Just 5 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon and 30 mins to Bangor. Our 18th century cottage is nestled beneath low hills in Cwm Pennant, a quiet, beautiful valley in the heart of Eryri National Park. Sitting off the road, our only neighbours are sheep and cows - an ancient church across a river is the only building in sight. The cottage is as cosy and comfortable on the inside as it is historic and beautiful on the outside - perfect whatever the season.

A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Luxuriate in a super king size bed, and wake up to views of Snowdonia through the picture windows.
