We had an incredible stay at Grace's place! The house is as in the pictures! - beautifully furnished, with stunning views of the lake Nakuru that made every morning and evening feel like a dream. It's also conveniently located near major amenities, so we never had to venture far for anything we needed. What truly sets this listing apart, though, is Grace's exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly responsive from the moment we booked, providing detailed instructions and answering all our questions promptly. The house was spotless upon arrival, and every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of to ensure a comfortable stay. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a more perfect retreat. We had 4 lovely nights at Agnes' place and were very comfortable. The studio unit is in a corner of the estate with a view of Lake Naivasha through the front door and kitchen windows. The grounds have beautiful Acacias and well-tended gardens. The place is peaceful and has lots of birds. A Hippo came to graze at night. Check-in was straightforward and Debra was reachable and prompt to communicate and help us, including arranging a mechanic to jumpstart our car battery. The house is well-equipped for a short stay for a couple. Wifi is present but weak. Bfast at Agnes' resto was included and hearty. We rented bikes from outside Agnes' restaurant to bike in Hellsgate Park. It was a good trip but customer service from the bike rental was unsatisfactory. After paying upfront, including for drop and pickup of the bikes from the park, they refused to pick without more payment. So, it was very challenging and frustrating to bring the bikes back. Not Agnes' fault but clients be advised.

Great staying here, as always! Kid friendly, convenient blend of self catering with the option of the restaurant, helpful staff and even a fresh cake on arrival. Thank you!

An absolute dream spot on 200 acres of exclusive parkland next to the lake with giraffe and zebra’s walking through your garden. The cottage is utterly charming. Old school rustic but made beautifully comfortable by a doting team. The home made food delivered to the cottage was some of the best we have eaten in Kenya. A truly hidden gem. Can’t rate this place highly enough.

The shower heating was the best,the mattress very comfortable..we needed time away from the busy Nairobi Noises and pollution..At Victoria gave us that and more,initially we’d planned to stay for just one night we fell in love with the hidden gem and automatically we added the second night..we will definitely recommend Olmakau lake Naivasha and perhaps come back again..5* to the well equipped and high standard kitchen

Lovely setting, good range of cooking utensils. Flexible timing, comfortable. Easy walk to the lake, secure parking. Walking distance to Carnelly's resturant.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

Great place to explore Naivasha and Mt Longonot. The house and the area are amazing, and very quiet. This is a great place to disconnect if you are coming from busy Nairobi. The house has everything you need to spent few days and relax

We had such a wonderful stay at Emara Cottage! It’s the perfect weekend getaway, set in the most breathtaking surroundings. The cottage and rondavel suited our family perfectly, providing both comfort and charm. A big bonus for us was the airstrip within walking distance, making our trip even more convenient. Thank you for a truly lovely stay—we will most definitely be back!

Lovely and cosy cabin in a lovely area. Ruth is a kind and helpful host. The dogs are very friendly (but not overbearing). We enjoyed lighting up the fireplace and reading books by its side as much as exploring the Lake Naivasha area (Hell's Gate National Park, boat tour over the lake, etc). The cabin is a short walk over a private driveway from the main road.

lf you want to enjoy some solitude and some peace and quiet for a while, then the Good Ol Days Farmhouse may just be the place to be. It is a little of the track, but provides the most enjoyable experience of being in the country. The hospitality is truly to be commended.
