Amazing location. Inger was very helpful with setting up the hot tub and showing us around. It would have been nice to have more towels - when we requested more we did not hear back.

It was a convenient location for the Vestmannaeyjar Islands (Heimey) and other attractions along the N-1 - Skogafoss, the plane on the beach at Solheimandur, Reynisfjara, etc. Also not a bad drive to Reykjadalur. It was lovely to also feel so out-of-the way and quiet in the evenings after long days of sightseeing.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier, mit 6 Personen. Das Haus ist sehr groß und die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

prachtige locatie, aardige host, mooi huisje met sauna, ruime complete keuken, hottub warmt erg langzaam op, dus bij 1 overnachting niet op tijd warm.

Amazing place with large rooms and space. Quiet and out of the way, cloudy so no aurora sighting but we enjoyed the place. Clean and had almost everything u need in the kitchen.

Clean and comfortable home in the middle of Vik. A short walk to a wonderful burger joint/brewery and the Lava show. This place was ideal for our family with our toddler because it was all one level, a few toys were available and crib and high chair were also available for our use. We hope to visit again.

Perfect spot to feel part of the surrounding, the view is breathtaking on a 360 degree. The house is cozy and very well organized, check in and check out was extremely smooth. Great!

We loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful view and is very quiet and peaceful. The place is small but has everything you need. Convenient location for exploring the south coast. Our favorite place we stayed in Iceland and would definitely book again!

Wir waren eine Nacht in der Unterkunft und rundum zufrieden. Die Unterkunft liegt abgelegen und ruhig, in der Nacht hatten wir das Glück und konnten die Polarlichter sehen.

LOVED staying here! Jón was super kind helping get guests settled, the breakfast was AMAZING and had all the best recommendations for the area as well as across Iceland as well. Definitely would recommend staying here and will be coming back!

Good spot to stop and rest before continuing on to the next destination on the island

We absolutely adore this place and have just been back for a second stay. The location is magic. The cabin is super charming, clean, cosy, welcoming and full of character. It is lovely to see that past guests have left behind little things to add to the decor and make it feel very special. The privacy and middle of nowhere feeling you get there are amazing. There are only two points we feel worth mentioning as little downsides to this cabin: The shower is tiny - it is more like something you'd find in a small caravan. The two single beds are very narrow and for some adults maybe not a very comfortable choice. All in all we'd never let those facts keep us from coming back. We LOVE this place.

Peaceful and serene cozy spot! This was a great stay for us and we couldn’t have been happier with the space. We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for everything!
