Super impressed with this beautiful little cottage on the lake. The amenities were way more than expected, which made our seven day stay just perfect. Jill was very sweet and understanding when due to the weather, we had to push our trip up a week. Thankfully it was available. I highly recommend staying here. We visit family once or twice a year here and will definitely stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights and couldn't imagine more beautiful views. The cottage is perfectly decorated and has all the amenities you could hope for. We will be back!

We had a great second trip to Creed’s place on Duck Lake! The setting and amenities brought us back—the kids loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and little private beach. With state park across the lake, the mornings on the dock are pure peaceful bliss. The Lake Michigan beach shore is minutes away by car and even reachable by paddle, which is very unique! Creed is a great host, greeting us with a warm welcome and helping to get the family’s gear down to the cabin with a motorized trolley. The place was clean and charming. We definitely recommend this gem and will be back for a third visit!

Michael’s place is a short walk away from stunning views of Lake Michigan. The space is clean and quiet and Michael was a friendly, responsive and thorough host. No detail was left out and he genuinely cared that our stay was a pleasant one. Thank you Michael!!

Becca was proactive prior to the trip to make sure we had everything that we needed and to ensure we had all of the information we needed for a smooth check in and stay. the house was beautiful, just like the photos. The outdoor space was perfect for entertaining. Beautiful back porch and lawn and the location was perfect. The house was pristine as far as cleanliness and check out was very easy. I would recommend this property with a 5 star rating to anyone.

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place was so tidy and cute, very welcoming. We loved the hot tub after some long hikes, and felt completely at home. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

It was a great spot. We loved all the recommendations and amenities. We did had to clean some spider web from the doors and windows but other than that it was good.

Great house, just as described. We were there for a short stay but enjoyed our time. Adam was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

Kristi’s Airbnb was so clean and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront spot and my husband & I felt we didn’t even need to leave during our getaway because we had so much fun just being there! I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Sherry’s place was easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed it. It was absolutely spotless and the decorations and amenities made us feel right at home. The home offered a lot of toys and books for our kiddos and Sherry went above and beyond to make sure we had some essentials for breakfast in the morning. We didn’t explore the neighborhood much but did find the location to be great for visiting grand haven and holland. Sherry was very proactive with her communications! We would book here again without hesitation.

Jaclyn was amazing to us. Her communication was great and she was always quick to respond. If you are looking for a place in twin lake on the water this is the spot to go. Very clean and comfortable. I look forward to any future trips we make here!

This was by far the favorite cottage we have rented. The beach area was perfect for our kids ages 3, 7, 10. They loved swimming, going fishing, making smores around the pit, sleeping in bunk beds and watching Netflix! The neighbors were so friendly too. We also enjoyed relaxing under the pergola and being so close to several bike trails.

The place was just what we needed-- very peaceful and within walking distance to restaurants. Brenneman was very responsive and helpful for everything we needed, which wasn't much. Would highly recommend to anyone!

This home was gorgeous! Very private and remote location. We had three families in this home together sleeping 13 and it was very comfortable. Gas stations and essential stores were within 10-15 minutes. The owners not only provided a flexible check-in but also extended our check out time an hour to help accommodate our schedule needs. They were prompt with responses and information when attention was needed. Our group is already looking at wanting to rent this home again soon because everything was truly so perfect!

The Making Waves cottage was perfect! My family and I had everything we needed to enjoy time together. There was plenty of room and beds. The firepit area had plenty of seating as well. The beach is very close. The small things that made it extra special; extra supplies that we didn't know we needed seemed to be right there, as if it we were in our own home. All the games and fun things to do. Thank you Kelly and James for a wonderful and comfortable stay!
