Beautiful place! Back yard had fence all around so our dog could be safe out side.

The place is great, better than the photos actually! It has everything you’ll ever need, such as pots, cooking utensils, and cleaning supplies, and everything is very clean. However, one little con is that the internet is a bit unstable, no matter if we’re using cellular service or the purchased wifi.

Another great stay at Stew's place. I highly recommend. It is off a busy highway, but you wouldn't know it because it is secluded down below the businesses and is very private and quiet. Everything was very clean and lots to do with movies and games for the kids. The hot tub was so nice. It was very cool in the morning so that is a great way to warm up under the canopy of pine trees that surround the back deck. Definitely will be back for another stay.

This cabin was everything we could have hoped for! Huge hot tub on a wraparound deck that had a fence so our dog could be outside but not free on the property. Wood burning furnace inside was a favorite feature for my husband and I. Our dog loved laying in front of the fire. 10/10 would recommend 🙂

We loved our stay and Nick was a responsive and kind host. Was a short trip but we felt very cozy. The home is beautiful and you are close to lots of amazing outdoor experiences. Has all the appliances and tools you might need to make dinner! And extremely reasonable and understandable check out instructions.

Loved the location. I wanted somewhere to unwind and this was it!!! So quiet and peaceful. I could smell the pine trees. Saw some deer, a squirrel and some wild turkeys. Very convenient to downtown Sonora, Twain Harte and Jamestown. I may try to be back during the winter to see all the snow. Lots of room in the house. There were just two of us but it can acommodate a group.

This was a perfect winter getaway for our family to go, the cousins enjoyed the game room (and keyboard) downstairs and the adults loved playing cards by the fire with the downstairs door closed (keyboard noise stayed downstairs 😆). The hot tub looking over the forest was lovely. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, responsive and helpful hosts. We can’t wait to be back and experience the location in the summer!

It was an absolutely lovely house in a bucolic area. The house itself was a perfect combination of spacious and cozy, amazing for lounging on the oversized pouf in the living room near the wood burning stove, playing foosball and watching movies upstairs in the den, and peaceful hot tub time in the chilly evenings. The kitchen was also well-stocked for our cooking purposes. We can honestly say it was one of the best Airbnb accommodations we've stayed at and we will surely look forward to staying here again when we're visiting the area.

Amazing stay at this adorable cabin! Check-in was easy, I appreciated the keypad lock for easy entry on arrival. We brought our little dogs and they loved running around the fully fenced yard. The house was warm and rooms were comfortable. Rob was responsive and helpful. Nice location with trees all around but plenty of neighbors so you don't feel isolated. Nickel slot machine and pool table were so fun! The bathrooms are very nice. The only small issue we encountered, was that we got a little lost arriving to the house on the first night, due to our late arrival and it being dark so we couldn't see street signs/ markers clearly. I recommend using Google Maps to arrive, Apple Maps took us to the wrong location. Looking back I could see that Rob's directions were very accurate, I just misread them. The house is right in the area where Kewin Mill Rd. and W. Brookside Drive connect, right near Estralita Dr. if that's helpful to anyone. Thanks for everything and for the lovely stay Rob!

A great location for exploring the gold rush area, Highways 49, 108 and 4. Easy access, great for our dog, and a cozy place to spend the night

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It’s rustic and charming. We were happy not to have any snow, but we were able to easily travel up to Bear Valley for skiing and sledding. There are lots of nearby amenities and just a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The cabin was very warm and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed watching the DVDs and playing with the games. The beds are also super comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This sweet cottage was more magical than we even expected! We were surprised by all of the thoughtful touches, the decor, excellent cooking utensils, coffee, snacks, and so much more. It felt like we were staying in a secret tree house and the patio created the most calming space for outdoor meals and relaxing. The location was quiet, very convenient and just the right size for two. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this space again!

Bev and Rod were such wonderful hosts. The "shed" as they call it, is exactly as described. Extremely clean, very calm and peaceful, the perfect temperature, and restful bed. With the mini kitchen I was able to warm up leftovers and keep my water cold. Also Bev and Rod are such gracious hosts. I felt as though I was visiting my grandparents house. They were quick to give recommendations and feedback on the places I planned to visit with my dog. Their warmth was genuine and the shed was a quiet place for me to reflect and read. It had everything I needed included clean shower, bathroom, bed, and room. Perfect place for a couple or a lone traveler (+ small dog) like I was this trip. If you're planning on doing some hiking in the area or have Big Trees on your national park list, then don't pass up on this amazing spot. 100% worth the cost and so much more. If I plan to visit the area again, this will be my first choice on places to stay.

This is a very quiet and peaceful spot with a nice outdoor seating area. Very roomy apartment space. Very reasonably priced for what you get. I would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through the western Sierra's.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very clean and felt right at home. Pauline was super helpful and responsive. Everything was perfect:)

Homey A- frame with a splendid loft bedroom. The surrounding woods and the lovely front deck were a pleasure. Linda left us a bottle of wine, coffee, and bath salts: so much better than many AirBnB’s with nothing included. A good brewery, Calaveras State Park, and charming Murphies with wineries and cute shops are nearby.

Jeff and Gina were great hosts. Responsive and friendly. Close to Yosemite. The kids loved the game room, beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need.

We had a great stay at Connie’s cabin. Our trip was two couples, each with a toddler. The space was very well set up to allow us to put each kid down and still have board game nights after they were asleep. The cabin had a very lived in and homey vibe - which is what we were looking for! You could definitely tell the family has gotten lots of great use out of the house over the years!

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

Beautiful cabin in Arnold! Super cozy and every amenity you could need. My kids did not want to leave.

One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

This cabin was amazing. My family and I had so much fun there. Unfortunately, there was no snow as we expected, but a 30-minute drive to Bear Valley was not bad to have fun. It ended up being a good thing since we didn't always have to deal with snow. I will come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Mike’s place. It is in a very beautiful location and very easy to find. Our family enjoyed walks around the lake, grilling on the patio , and gathering around the outdoor fireplace. It is a short drive away from snow parks where our kids loved the sledding. The cabin has a beautiful rustic look that we found comfortable and inviting. Highly recommend.
