Raylin was very hospitable and open-minded, we really felt at home there. The tents are not on the beach due to construction but we could stay at his place in the mountain with a superb view. The village community is super friendly and the mountains and beaches very beautiful.

The place was a very comfy and quiet hotel. The bed was super plush and the room/bathroom nicely updated and decorated. The first room we were assigned had a non functioning air conditioning. They quickly switched us to a new room. Couldn’t ask for a better hotel.

Una experiencia inolvidable (en el buen sentido)! Nos alojamos cuatro noches en esta encantadora guesthouse, y sinceramente, el dueño debería recibir un premio al "Anfitrión del Año". ¡Más amable y servicial que una abuela con Wi-Fi gratis! Además, ¡es un chef de primera! Si le dejas, te prepara unos platos tan buenos que te olvidarás de que venías por la naturaleza. Yo vine por las cascadas y terminé quedándome por la pasta. ¡Esa salsa tenía poderes mágicos! Hay muchísimo por hacer: puedes caminar por la jungla como Indiana Jones hasta unas cascadas increíbles o relajarte en la playa como si no tuvieras facturas que pagar. Eso sí, la carretera cercana parece tener tráfico las 25 horas del día… pero nada que unos buenos tapones para los oídos no solucionen. El desayuno se sirve con una vista tan bonita que casi te olvidas de comer (casi). En resumen: ven por la naturaleza, quédate por el desayuno… y el cocinero estrella que es el dueño. ¡Recomendadísimo!

I highly recommend staying here. The location is beautiful, around the corner is a good beach for swimming (still rocky, but no waves). The rooms are big and clean. The AC worked great with no electrical outages. The shower was really nice. The guard dogs are friendly and got along with my dog. We will stay here when we visit barahona again.
