KOMO tiny: The not so tiny, tiny home

The not so tiny home has one queen bed in one loft (access via staircase) and a twin XL in the other loft (access via ladder). The living room area has a comfy loveseat. Relax in the tiny or in the yard after Portland sight seeing, snowboarding, kayaking or whatever you decide to do. It’s an awesome space to come explore Portland or head to the coast, rivers, or lakes. The tiny is on the lot (backyard) of the main house; about 150-200 ft in between. RV SITE ONLY WITH POWER AND WATER. GUESTS MUST BE TRAVELING IN THIER OWN RV. The Hummingbird Homestead is nestled just outside of Washougal, WA, in the picturesque Columbia River Gorge. RVers are able to take advantage of our gravel RV site, complete with water and power hookups (20amp, 30amp, and 50amp options available). We're big rig friendly! At 5 acres, the host's primary residence located at the northern end. To ensure your peace of mind, the entire property is fenced and gated.

Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay.
