It’s been definitely one of my best AirBnB experience. This cottage is absolutely delightful! We loved every minute of our stay. And Anna Maria is a super welcoming host. I highly recommend this place as a great base for exploring stunning Austurland

Es war die BESTE Unterkunft in der ich je war. Die Traditionen von Island kann man nicht besser kennenlernen. Kein Strom, kein Internet und trotzdem war ich nie Glücklicher in einer Unterkunft von Airbnb :)

Possibly the most comfortable bed in Iceland!

We spent 2 unforgettable nights at this incredible place! The views are absolutely stunning — a perfect blend of sea and mountain scenery that takes your breath away. It’s peaceful, secluded, and feels like your own little slice of paradise. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful — he even surprised us with delicious chocolate waffles! The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot tub — soaking in warm water while surrounded by nature was pure bliss. It felt so private and luxurious. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone visiting beautiful Seyðisfjörður!

Had everything as described in the listing. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer as it was just what we needed mid road trip.

Tout était bien , facile à trouver et parfait pour un séjour dans l’est de l’Islande , appartement conforme aux photos et attentes , très moderne à l’intérieur.

Our encounter with Kjartan started from the point we booked his cabin. He's the kind of host that I really appreciate for his proactive nature to provide assistance to welcome 1st timers like us to Iceland. We got 'lost' trying to find his cabin cos we didn't quite follow his instructions well, hahahh..and he was super super patient. The cabin is very cosy, new and exactly as shown in the pictures. Comfy bed, strong wifi connection, perfect for a good rest after taking in all the sights. More importantly, Kjartan is very responsive, easy to comms and friendly. Thanks for everything, Kjartan! :)

Our family had a wonderful stay here. We walked to the local swimming pool after dinner and had a great time. Would highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a night on the east side of the island - right in the city but only 5 minutes from complete darkness to see the northern lights!! Clean, well kept, and cute place!
