As you turn off the paved road onto our country lane, you can already feel yourself relax as you prepare for a time of rejuvenation at Apple Lane Getaway. You can choose between hiking the Appalachian Trail, visiting Hershey Park, or playing a round at Lebanon Valley Golf Course just down the road. Our 3 bedroom house is newly remodeled and tastefully decorated, with central air conditioning and heating for your comfort. As your hosts, we look forward to sharing our slice of country with you!

Also, an easy drive to many tourist areas including Amish Country, French Creek and Philadelphia. Center city Reading and the affordable Santander venues are less than 10 minutes away by car. This 2.5 acre property is less than 15 minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. You are just 8 miles from Maple Grove Raceway, minutes from the Santander Arena and other Reading attractions. This house is cozy enough for a weekend getaway, with a first floor master suite and multi-head tile shower. It is also spacious enough to bring the family, with 2 bedrooms, and a kids play area upstairs. Grab a seat on the beautiful outdoor patio and enjoy the picturesque views of the Allegheny Creek.

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.
