We had a great family ski trip to Mt Shasta at the Sunshine Lodge. The turn off for the ski park hwy wasnt far and right off the 89. I loved how spacious the house was and all the cool vintage pieces throughout. The wood stove kept us nice and toasty after long days at the mountain. All the beds/furniture were comfortable and cozy. Also, it was nice that all the shops, market, and places to eat were within walking distance. We'd definitely stay there again.

Jordan’s cabin was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we booked, she was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully arranged, and absolutely stunning—a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The breathtaking layout, paired with the peaceful sounds of nature all around us, made it a true escape from the everyday. Our family left feeling refreshed and reconnected, especially after enjoying a serene picnic by the stream that runs through the property—it was the highlight of our trip. The surroundings were nothing short of magical, and every detail in and around the cabin felt intentional and warm. We highly recommend the stay, and my family will most definitely be back.

Toad Hollow was great for our group of 7 adults and children. We loved playing in the snow, sitting on the front porch, building puzzles on the big dining room table, cooking meals in the well stocked kitchen, taking baths in the clawfoot tub, watching dvd’s, and walking to restaurants in town. Toad Hollow is close to Mt Shasta ski park. The large mud room was great for offloading snow gear. It was nice having a washer and dryer to dry wet snow gear! Jill was very responsive when we accidentally deadbolt locked the keypad door and went out the back (the back door has a door knob lock that can be pulled closed and locked). She came by and unlocked the house while we were at the ski park so we didn’t have to deal with not being able to get in when we came back. We would recommend Toad Hollow for its cozy, like home, atmosphere.

A beautiful stone house, right on street with major restaurants and cafes. We had awesome stay!

Mariah was an amazing host and the place we stayed in was beautiful. I took my parents here as they were visiting from Canada and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The views were incredible - pictures don't do them justice. The house is very spacious and modern and there are many areas to hang out with friends / family inside and outside of the house. Mariah was incredibly responsive and willing to got the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. If I am ever in the area I will definitely be coming back.

I loved this place! I stayed overnight with my dog and foster dog as we returned from a training workshop in CA. It was a perfect spot to sleep overnight before we finished our last long drive. I felt like coming over to a friends’ house for the night and the yard was so great for the dogs. The hosts were super responsive and even offered to send my electric toothbrush back that I forgot. I’ll absolutely stay here again and look forward to having time to walk the neighborhood with the dogs next time.

Wonderful stay in this serene sanctuary. I felt right at home at Therese and Lori’s little cabin. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood backing up to the forest. The hosts were gracious and helpful. It was clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

It was a great place with modern, stylish and beautiful decor. The beds were firm and comfortable. It is accesible to trails that lead us to the creek. It is right by I-5 and the train track, but the noise did not bother us at all. The heater was set at a comfortable temp. It was very clean too. It may be pricey for the area, but it was great. We would love to come back.

Amazing with a Capital A! Gorgeous botanical gardens, swings, bocce court,zipline....etc... too much to list. And the Airstream was gorgeous and immaculate with everything I could possibly need or want. Firepits outside,views, privacy. Immaculate! I would rather stay here than in a five star hotel. The pool wasn't open (probably seasonal) but I can't wait to go back and swim. Mt Shasta is nearby and I found the best thrift store. Got a bottle of wine and some groceries before my stay in the darling town. I am a forever fan.

Cute house.cozy place. Love the location. Love the train. Made us feel right at home. We live close by the train. It’s right by the freeway easy to get in and out.

Great place to stay! We enjoyed our tiny home and were pleased with all the amenities. We didn’t see the pool (perhaps we missed it)!

Great location and airstream matched the photos. The heater (if you’re here off season like we were) was excellent. Really good customer service, they went out of their way to help us.

Or stay was great! The house was very clean and Lillian was very helpful with directions and getting the house situated for us! The location is amazing and on a clear night the stars are incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Do not think twice about this beautiful, calm, clean!, relaxing place. GO! The grounds are kept up with love and beauty that a mountain garden should be when loved by it's gardener. Socked away so you feel far away from the things you need to get away from, that's why you went there in the first place right! The grounds cats that are special to the breed, with personalities to match. Trails all around and ones outside your front door. You will never want to leave.......seriously! Host's are delightful cabin very nicely kept. Meadows, roads and rivers to walk down in the evening. It's definitely a return for me lots to do up there if you love the mountains!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at House of Bass and Lilies. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and beautiful; the perfect retreat for much needed rest, with great hikes and snowy fun close by. Our host and property manager were amazingly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Bonanza King Cabin is such a gem for anyone who would like to spent precious time with love ones. Janelle and her husband is very accommodating. Super clean, well organize and complete amenities. I would like to come again and bring the rest of my family here. The creek is super close few steps only and super special place to be where you can experience nature calmness and peace. There are lots of chairs , swing close to the creek plus their basketball court too. We didn’t have to drive around the area because we enjoyed just staying inside the cabin or within the resort. Our drive is well worth it. Thank you for Janelle family for making this a great place to be.

The house was clean, lovely and as represented in the listing. The space is nicely furnished and decorated to feel homey and comfortable. We had a great weekend visiting the area!

We fell in love with the place the minute we walked in. Place is so beautiful! We have everything we need and more. Laurie is super responsive to all our concerns and needs. Highly recommended!

This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!

We had a great family trip at Melanie’s house. It fit all of us very comfortably. We had beautiful scenic views surrounding the property and we were close to areas where we were able to explore like plutos cave, mt Shasta, where we took the kids tubing. We loved that there were no tvs. We were able to get away and enjoying each others company, relax by the fireplace, play games and talk. Great little get away.
