Our stay at this air bnb was so peaceful and relaxing. The area was absolutely beautiful. House was exactly as described in the listing. During the week, many of the establishments/restaurants are closed. Our stay was Sunday through Thursday, so we had to travel only about 20-25 minutes for more options to eat out but pleasant and easy drives. Weather must’ve been pretty rainy the week prior to our stay, so the unpaved roads to the home were washed out and had some trees blocking roads. A super friendly neighbor helped us to navigate our way around and informed us of alternative roads to travel. Hosts were super easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had within the hour. This truly was a hidden gem of a place to stay. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to just enjoy quality time together in a private and relaxing getaway.

Ricky’s farm was so peaceful and we really enjoyed sitting outside at the fire pit looking at the creek enjoying the beautiful weather. We enjoyed walking on the hiking trails on the property and stopping by to visit the cows. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen and nicely decorated with antiques and country decor. It was a very nice family getaway.

We (three of us) really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer and Dan’s River Bend Retreat. The accommodations were excellent. The three of us were very comfortable throughout our stay. Two stayed in the queen bed room (which includes a very nice sitting room) and one in the bunk bed room. As soon as we arrived we walked (about 10 minutes) on the C&O canal trail to Taylor’s Landing on the Potomac which has a beautiful view of the river’s bend. The house’s location was very accessible to the Antietam Battlefield, Sharpsburg, Sheperdstown and Harper’s Ferry (which we visited all in one day). We found Jennifer to be very pleasant and very responsive to any questions we had through messages on the Airbnb app. The rates we paid for the experience were very reasonable! Not to mention the gratis snacks and drinks that Jennifer had thoughtfully laid out for us! We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. I expect to stay there again in the future!

This was an extremely nice listing. Everything was really clean. The hosts are nice. The farm is nice as well. It was cool seeing the animals. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in the area for a weekend football tournament. Most other parents got hotel rooms and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to book this airbnb!! The bang for your buck is remarkable! The extra amenities that have been thought about to make sure you are taken care of were seriously appreciated! My teenage son loved the feel of the place! He was very intrigued with all the paintings! The vibe definitely made him super comfortable! Oh and the ease of communication and flexibility with Roman was the cherry on top! Thank you for a pleasant stay!!

We really enjoyed staying here in this unique & beautiful apartment! Dominic and Dale go way over the top in providing all the extras for their guests - homemade muffins, delicious snacks, stocked fridge, and even a bottle of wine. But more than the goodies, they were so welcoming and friendly - finding space to store our bikes and making sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again.

This place is a gem if you're visiting the Romney area! We took the Potomac Eagle Scenic rail and spent two nights at Laura's Place. it was the perfect setting for our mini vacation and we would definitely come again. Highly recommend it.

Heather was fantastic! We had lost power due to storms and desperately needed a place to stay with our two dogs. It was a very last minute booking and she was super accommodating. She responded super fast to my messages. The place was super peaceful and clean. Would definitely book with her again!

When we walked in the door my wife’s comment was, “I could live here!” We really liked the place. Very homey. Close to many establishments, yet a more “outside the city” area. It’s a great place. We will definitely stay again when we’re in the area!
