We have stayed in this property before - it is very well maintained - easy to get to and parking. The location looking out to the sea one side and the marina the other is idillic. Kevin is a great host - highly recommend if you are that end of the country. Highly recommended

Lovely little apartment located in a great spot on the river. We stopped in one night and ended up getting a pint and dinner at the waterfront which was a minute down the road - highly recommend. For the apartment, it was very cozy and served us well. Our experience was enhanced by Rebecca who went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall great stay and recommend to all.

First class apartment, very clean, cosy and well equipped. Enjoyed our stay very much, easy walk to beach, golf course and river view from sitting room window. Good base for the area, day trips to Inverness, Black Isle and lots of good suggestions from Sheena. Lovely coastline, hope to return again.

Perfect location with a view of the river Ness! The apartment is stocked with everything one may need, and even includes breakfast items such as milk and cereal! Amanda is a wonderful host and provided detailed instructions and directions well ahead of time. Excellent experience!

Fantastische Lage für den Aufenthalt. Viele Restaurants und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der direkten Umgebung. Die Räumlichkeiten waren super ausgestattet, es war alles da was benötigt wird.

We had the best stay!! The beds and couch were so comfortable. Everything was extremely clean. We loved having the Nescafe machine and Hayley was kind enough to provide some breakfast foods. The location of the apartment was perfect - quiet, picturesque, and a walkable distance from everything we wanted to see in the city. Highly recommend!

Un alojamiento hermoso en una zona bastante privilegiada, puedes caminar y tener contacto con la naturaleza de una manera excepcional. Los dueños siempre atentos a las necesidades, únicamente me aprecio extraño que hay instrucciones para todo, hasta justo antes de acostarte la cama tiene un letrero. Fuera de eso es un gran lugar para quedarte por un par de noches

This is not a house, it’s a home. It has everything you need for the family to be comfortable right from the moment you arrive with something for everyone. Standout for the young children a fab garden with an awesome trampoline. Standout for the adults space and comfort to totally relax. What takes it from great to exceptional are the thoughtful touches …… and there are a lot but it’s most of all the welcome and hospitality of Kay our host who kept in touch to make sure all was well and gave us brilliant tips on where to go suitable for each of our parties needs. The property was clean, comfortable, bright and very well located for what we were wanting to do while on our 5 night stay in the city. Susan was very thoughtful and responsive hostess.

A wonderful stay in this beautiful house. A great location, The sunsets even in Feb were beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed as a family of four. The kids loved the extra touches like yummy tablet (Scottish fudge) and to use the binoculars to help spot sealife and birds. We used the house as a base to visit family further down the coast but Buckie was lovely and we enjoy shopping, breakfast and lunch at pozzi and ice creams at the ice cream cabin and over in Portsoy. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A lovely home that is conveniently located and gave our family of 6 a comfortable base for the 2 days we spent in the city. House came equipped with comfy beds and the welcome gift was a sweet touch!!

Sandra's apartment is a cosy, warm place, in a quite area. It is very confortable, clean and very well equipped . You could reach downtown with a nice long riverside walk. The Old Icehouse is anything but cold. Beautifully presented apartment with everything you need for your vacation. Lots to do in the area. Having the beach just across the road was perfect. We were treated to amazing sunsets almost nightly. The walk up the coast to Tarbat Ness is worth doing.

Muriel and Alexander were both super welcoming and friendly. We loved their charming apartment, and felt right at home. It was perfect for everything we needed. Inverness city center was a 10 minute walk along the river, with Ness Island a 5 minute walk. Absolutely gorgeous area to walk. We would return to their apartment if we were in Inverness again!

혼자 지내기에는 조금 컸지만 맘에 들어 예약했고 사진과 거의 모든 것이 일치했습니다 위치가 역과 거리는 있으나 걸어다닐만 했고 주변이 시끄럽지 않고 조용한 환경입니다 좋은 기억을 가지고 만족하며 숙박 마치고 런던으로 돌아갑니다

We loved our stay at Angela and Hector’s place. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome and offer guidance and assistance. They were by far the best hosts we’ve ever had and I would recommend anyone to stay with them. They really have gone out of their way to try and anticipate things we may need before we even knew we needed them. The River Retreat is centrally located and close to lots of great restaurants and shopping. We barely used our car the whole time we were there because Inverness was so walkable from their place. All appliances and amenities worked well and the River Retreat really facilitated our stay perfectly. Next time we’re back in Inverness we will definitely be return!
