Beyond the cabin only the vast GW National Forest. Our cabin offers all modern amenities including high speed wifi, central air, and a gourmet kitchen. Keep your eyes open for wildlife. The cabin is a stone throw from lakes and endless trails. Or maybe go skiing? But be warned - you may not wish to leave once you put your feet up!

With its quaint rustic charm, the Lost Pines Cabin is nestled in West Virginia's beautiful Lost River Valley, adjacent to the George Washington National Forest, about 2 hours outside of the Washington DC Metro Area. The cabin is ideal for small families, couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends. Step off the grid and enjoy some rest and relaxation at the Lost Pines Cabin. Of course, there is fiber internet throughout the property & a land line available for emergencies.

Welcome to our lovely cabin on the top of the mountain! With sweeping, 270-degree views in three seasons and layers of mountains visible and lush greenery in summer, here you have space to truly disconnect, center yourself in nature, listen to the sounds of crickets, birds, and tree frogs, and enjoy dark sky star views. Enjoy the cooler weather at this altitude, the breeze through the trees, and the spectacular view from the spacious back porch and cozy lighted screened porch on our 5 acre lot.

Sister Property to The River Roost Cozy cabin getaway on the South Branch of the Potomac River, surrounded by the beauty of Wild & Wonderful West Virginia with all the comforts of "home". While secluded, just a short drive into town you'll find dining options, bowling and a movie theatre. Valley View Golf Course is within 10 miles and hiking trails are in the surrounding area. Unique home just 2 miles from public river access for floating or fishing. Within an hour of Canaan Valley, Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole Caverns, and Blackwater Falls. A 1970s camper- with stick built additions to create a cool space. Sleeps comfortably offering a queen and double bed, as well as a living room futon for an additional guest. Relax on the patio with 70” TV, bar, hot tub, and porch swings or gather by the fire pit. Pet-friendly! Please note that some rooms have low ceilings. See pics!

If hiking isn't your thing, don't worry, the views from the porch are incredible. We suggest grilling out on the wrap-around deck while you watch the deer graze their dinner. Then get a great night's sleep on super-comfortable beds.
