There’s not much that is usual about this property. Which is why it is so unique. We enjoyed walking down and “ talking “ to the various breeds of his exotic birds. It was surprising watching the Emus running around. There are descriptions about all of the different breeds, and the one about the Emus stated that they could run 30 mph. Incredible…The decorating inside was carefully thought out, from the objects on display along with a mix of materials. The floors, stair steps and wood accents matched very nicely.

We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to celebrate a birthday, and this was perfect. Sheri made sure we had everything we could possible need during our stay, plus some surprises. And she communicated promptly to make sure we were happy. Everything was super clean, and we felt comfortable from the minute we walked in. We really enjoyed grilling our dinners & sitting outside at night with a fire and the party lights. This is the best experience we've ever had at an airbnb. We highly recommend if you're looking for a woodsy retreat.

Really enjoyed our stay! cozy home with outstanding sunset and sunrise overlooking the cows and sheep. playful kittens, the ducks and chickens. Can't wait to visit again and Paulette met us upon arrival. She welcomed us to walk the farm. Also her flowers in her yard are amazing!

We had a nice, relaxing stay. The place was decorated nicely, clean and very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. It was fun to watch the birds and goats and feed treats to their sweet kitty. We would definitely stay again.

The perfect space for anyone visiting Covington GA! Walking distance to the square and every location if your a fan of vampire diaries! The space was so perfect and clean and felt right at home! Karen was an amazing host and made sure to check in on us and keep us updated with the night of bad weather we had made us feel safe and cared for! We will for sure be back again! 😍

The place was amazing! It is separate from the main house so it was very private and quiet. The surroundings were quite serene with a view of the horses, chickens and I even got to pet the friendly cat. Although it may seem like it's far away from Athens on the map, it was a quick and easy 15-20 min drive to where I needed to be. I would not hesitate booking again on my next trip to Athens. I definitely recommend it!

The John’s place was serene, peaceful, and had plenty of space. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Me and my friend had a little girls trip and we had such a great time! Melissa was so sweet and welcoming and the tiny house was adorable and perfect for us! All the food around town was delicious and we loved wandering around the square! We will definitely be back and would love to stay here again!
