I was for a long time a war correspondent and, in my journeys, I always made a point of bringing back a book, a carpet, a stone, a painting, a fragment of memory so that the world may live in my Roman home. The flat is available for brief stays but also for longer periods. Being less than a block away from the Opera Theatre, it could be the perfect base for singers and musicians. We like to imagine that the ancient tuff wall and the brick arch, preserved inside, were part of a Roman cistern for shows of naval battles.
