It’s a days inn so it was exactly what I expected. Perfect place to stay if traveling or visiting the area. They were easy to communicate with. Also very flexible on checking. Would stay again.

Stay was just what I needed - a bed and a shower while in town overnight. It's a hotel, so all the usually hotel things were in play, including very very flexible check in, and someone on-site to respond to any issues (I didn't have any). Given what else was available in the area, this worked out great for the value.

Easy to locate, right off highway, next to McDonalds for a quick breakfast in the morning. Would stay again for my road trips.

Kristi and Ed were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their place is quiet and cozy. The communication was outstanding and the host ensured an easy check in and check out process!

This unit was quite comfortable and nicely appointed, with original artwork displayed in all rooms except the kitchen (this was a nice touch). Situated on the main level, it did not require using an elevator or climbing stairs to enter, yet because of the sloping lot, the windows were still well above grade and so was quite secure and relatively private. The queen bed was quite comfortable - not too soft or firm - with ample pillows and extra blankets. The shower was quite nice - ample pressure, hot water, and overhead clearance. The HVAC system is powerful and responsive, and ceiling fans improve ventilation even further. The kitchen stove heats up very quickly for an electric range. The dishwasher is on the loud side, so it's best to run it when you're not going to be around. Kitchen equipment and staple seasonings were adequate for simple meal preparations.

Great one bed one bath. Perfect for our anniversary. Walkable to several restaurants and breweries. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Jim was a fantastic host, and we would definitely stay here again

First rate accommodations and transaction. Jim was very responsive. The place was super clean on arrival, no issues at all. Price is reasonable, the cleaning fees and AirBNB fees are getting a little ridiculous, but not a reflection of Jim or the property (this is the only reason value isn’t five stars like the rest of our review). Overall great stay and experience, highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jim's place in Roanoke. We needed a place to stay for the double marathon and Jim's place was perfect. Very short walk to the start of the race, his place was really clean and had great decor, and he was very responsive to our messages. We highly recommend staying here whether you are doing a Roanoke race or just visiting. There are a lot of restaurants very walkable.

Forest and Allie were very friendly and welcoming. Their two dogs were adorable and the house was well kept and taken care of. The neighborhood is safe and in a good part of the city, close to many restaurants, grocery stores, gyms, etc. Parking was not an issue. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been able to stay in their home!

I love staying at Vickie's place! It's a vintage 70s basement dream, straight out of my childhood. The bed is super soft and comfy. Vickie is such a sweetheart and explains everything clearly and easily. I check to see if Vickie's place is available whenever I'm going to Roanoke. :)

I can’t even say enough good things about our stay! My kids (16, 11 and 9) and I stayed here on our last night of our trip. In 6 different stays over 8 days, 12 states and 3,100 miles, this was by far our favorite! Every single detail was thought of by our super friendly and attentive host. The linens were beautiful. There was a private gym, private laundry room, a crib, a high chair and an air mattress if needed. There was a range of breakfast items to choose from (cereal, bagels, etc) many flavors of coffee/tea/hot chocolate for the Keurig, even bottles of water, apple juice, cream cheese and milk in the fridge. The outdoor space was so pretty with grapes growing on the pergola, lush tropical greenery, comfortable furniture, giant tv and fire pit in the pool/back patio area. I mean everything we could have wanted was already there for us to use. It was such an enjoyable and relaxing stay. My kids even said they wanted to “vacation there again next year” 😂 Thank you, Kamola!

Enjoyed 5 nights. We "stole" the grandkids from my daughter in Salem for 4 nights. If you want a relaxing place off the beaten path, scenic and quiet, then this is your place. My grandsons loved the creek out back and caught a couple of crawfish (and some weird spider-looking thing... help me Google!). Although the mornings were cold/windy, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching the goats/chickens, sipping our hot coffee and hot cider. If you need supplies, Cave Spring is about 15 mins up the road & you can find anything you need there. The house is well-appointed and has everything you need in terms of pots, pans, dishes, etc. We did not meet the owner(s), but will say that they were VERY responsive. We had a maintenance issue the first day & they sent a friendly handyman to fix it the same day. If they will have us, we will be back. My grandson said he loved it because it was like" Mimi and Pop-Pop (from Alabama) had a house close to them that they could visit :)"

Our family was visiting for a Tech football game. The accommodations were comfortable and gave us a home base to enjoy Blacksburg. We enjoyed all your small, thoughtful touches.
