This place was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty of room. Nice large bedrooms. The view was as good as it could ever get. Full ocean view. We were able to see beautiful sunsets. We spent a day on the beach right in front of our place. The only disappointment was they say in the amenities list there is a fire pit. Actually, you have to rent it for 45$ and pick up at office. We did it and it was worth it. A small price but felt misleading. I would highly recommend Cypress 5.

Our host was amazing, very responsive and super friendly. At the Dunes just took over as the rental agency and did an excellent job. The views,location, and peacefulness were outstanding. You are just steps from the ocean and a long stretch of beach. The king size bed is comfortable and when you leave the slider open you can fall asleep to the waves crashing.

We have come back to this same listing for four years now. It is a top-floor unit so the views are wonderful. It is the perfect, quiet, family vacation before the school year starts.

This unit was wonderful. The walk to the beach is about two minutes on the wooden walkway. We had a great stay and we hope to be back soon.

We stayed for 4 nights at the dunes apartment, it was super confortable for 4 people. The dune view from the big window and outdoor space is amazing, and the fact that you can simply walk to the beach is very nice. When booking I didn´t realize we would be staying in a resort type place that even has a small shop. We chose this place to be able to explore Monterey bay and went kayaking and whale watching (blue ocean) at Moss Landing, and also drove to Monterey and Carmel. I think you need a car to be able to do this, we ended being away for the day but it was a fantastic place to come back to relax at the end of day, and energize with morning walks on the beach.

A beautiful and clean house with ocean view. The house is well thought for a family ( the main bedroom with a bench in the walk-in shower for elderly, the other room with bunkbeds for kids) The host was responsive to all questions, requests and feedbacks. The area around is good for all ages to walk, bike and of course beach access. Overall a beautiful and much needed relaxing spot for a family!

The location of the apartment is awesome. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and excellent view of the beach and ocean. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves was such a gift. Patti is lovely and kind with her communications. We did have some issues with the shower and bath sink in one of the bathrooms. We also wished we had paid attention to what was not listed in terms of provisions. For example, you’d have to bring your own coffee, teas, paper towels, and bathroom hand soaps (although napkins and bath soap bars were provided). Overall, a beautiful home at a great location with potentials for some minor improvements which I understand Patti will address in good spirit.

We stayed 2 weeks at Irene and Gary’s and it was perfect for us. The guest suite was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The large outdoor patio was also nice. The location felt private and very safe, and was central to all of the places we wanted to visit (Monterey, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, and Gilroy was a nice surprise). Irene and Gary were great hosts- very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at Ahnalisa’s beautiful home in Monterey! The place was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The views were absolutely stunning — waking up to them every morning was a treat. It’s also in a perfect location: peaceful, yet just a short and easy walk to everything we wanted to explore. Ahnalisa was a wonderful host and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Monterey!

Julia is a FANTASTIC host who is very friendly and treated us and our baby girl brilliantly letting us use the space in her apartment for feeding and playing outside of our room. The finish of the apartment is of high quality with everything you'd need including a cute balcony overlooking the woodland. The room itself is a perfect size and as described with it's own private bathroom and great personal touches. You will need to drive as there are a lack of pavements / sidewalks but Carmel is only a 10 min drive and has all the local amenities with plenty of great restaurants.

This was the perfect place for my family and I to relax and enjoy. Plenty to do and a great little restaurant right on location. Sidharth was awesome to communicate with and was very proactive.

Great vacation stay. First time not staying on Cannery Row and loved it. Great place for families.

LOVED our stay here!! The house was very clean and cozy, and we loved how open the living room/dining room were. The location is amazing; beach access, and an easy drive to both Monterey and Carmel! Would absolutely recommend!!
