Lots of space. Beautiful kitchen. Quiet and clean.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Sharon’s lovely home in Aptos. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and we felt at home to use the kitchen, living area, and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Sharon was very responsive since before we arrived, which helped us feel prepared to enjoy our trip to the area. I really appreciate her attention to detail.

Susan was awesome with responding to any question we had! The place was perfect for our family to gather and stay together for my son’s wedding, which was just a few miles away. We highly recommend the home for a group!!! Thank you, Susan!!!!

Enjoyed our time in Carmel. House worked great for our family. Appreciated the little touches like unscented laundry detergent and soaps around the house. Nice to have a garage you can park in. We enjoyed walking to and from town a couple of times, but mostly drove back-and-forth.

Kay's apartment was lovely for anyone who appreciates serenity and nature. The views are exceptional. It's very quiet and very private. Kay immediately told me I would have the whole side of the house completely to myself, and I did. She was very welcoming to my dog. She kindly offered to let me use the washing machine. The kitchen was well stocked with food for my arrival. Kay did everything she could to make my time there everything I hoped for. I spent a lot of time outdoors in the various patios. There is an enclosed area for a dog. It's a roomy place so would be good for a couple. The apartment is in a gated community in the foothills above Laguna Seca, just off Los Laureles Grade so there is a bit of a drive to get anywhere. There are numerous parks for hiking or exploring nearby. It is easy to get to Monterey, Carmel, Salinas. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed our stay at Cindy's place. It was a lovely, clean and private home in a peaceful neighborhood, and Cindy was highly communicative and proactive throughout our stay. The decor was so fun and thoughtful, as well! The home was well-equipped for all our needs, and I appreciated the plate of cookies to welcome us to the home. Overall, a great experience and I would stay here again.

What can say about Juan José that hasn't already been said by previous guests with positive experiences! Juan José truly was a gem to speak with and be around. My son and I were grateful for the breakfast and free use of the kitchen. We absolutely loved the location and its convenience to a walkable shopping mall, a bus stop as well, and in such a quiet, peaceful and safe neighborhood! The kindness Juan José extended to us was top notch! And we are grateful for our stay.

C’était splendide !! L’accueil était génial , le lieu était magnifique et la chambre très confortable. Le petit déjeuner waouh!! Avec des gâteaux fait maison. Ils sont très généreux . On a la vue sur la vallée qui est magnifique aussi. Tout était parfait ! Merci encore !!

This is the only place I stay when I visit Monterey. It’s less than a 10 minute drive to the aquarium and you can even see the ocean. It’s super affordable (you’d pay more than double at a local hotel) and so adorable. The house is historic (obviously), the gardens are lovely, and the hosts are helpful, friendly, and kind. I’ve been staying here for 10 years and have visited more than a dozen times. I’ve stayed in all but one of the rooms. They’re all different depending upon your needs. I hate to give such a glowing review because it will make it harder for me to get a booking but I can’t keep this gem a secret!

Rebecca is the most warm and welcoming host! She went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special with a personalized welcome sign and freshly baked muffins. We stayed up chatting like family in the evening, and she even made us delicious scrambled eggs in the morning. Out of all the Airbnbs I've stayed at, this one truly felt like home. Thank you, Rebecca, for your incredible hospitality! ❤️

Rishi offers an incredibly warm welcome, that is genuine and caring. How lovely, after we’d been on a long road trip! He offered us a bottle of wine at check-in and other nice touches when he learned that it was my birthday. We took the advice of another reviewer and left our car parked when heading out in the evening, as all the spaces were full. Uber was reasonable price. We loved the quiet location, and only issues we had was not being able to access reception area the morning we were leaving, for breakfast and to check-out. Otherwise, our host made our stay very very welcoming and memorable. Would recommend!

Absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable. The sheets and blankets were soft. Our little fireplace did the trick for the chilly evenings. Bathroom was well stocked and large. Breakfast each morning was hot and fresh. Delicious little muffins were available at all times. Furniture in the living room was soft and cozy. We had a lovely lovely stay.

Nancy and Roger are very generous, welcoming and proactive hosts. They made sure that we felt comfortable and enjoyed our time here. The house is a short ride from Santa Cruz and the Henry Cowell State Park. Our hosts had excellent recommendations for hikes and food. They also paid great attention to detail in setting up the room — there were a lot of thoughtful touches and we had everything we needed. The room, the bathroom and the house in general are very clean. The surroundings are beautiful and calm. We definitely recommend!

Memorable "bed & breakfast"! Warm welcome, "southern hospitality" in CA. Breakfast order at check-in. Firm twin beds, warm seat bidet in private bathroom. Towels/toiletries provided. Snacks, sodas, bottled water, refrigerator, coffee maker provided in room. Possible AM noise (earplugs provided). Enjoyed breakfast in backyard w/cats. Great value while exploring Carmel/Monterey/San Jose areas. Thanks for a lovely stay!
