We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. We will be back. Thank you Leatitia.

We had one night at Penny's and it was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Lovely home with excellent location close to the cliff path, Grotto Beach and Dutchies. Kitchen is very well equipped and caters to a lovely relaxed atmosphere and vibe. We had a great time however struggled with the sun in the mornings in the bedrooms with thin/shear curtains waking us up much earlier than we would’ve liked.

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, well equipped and tastefully decorated. High quality and well appointed kitchen. Gorgeous outside area for dining, and a little plunge pool for hot days. The town is walkable and full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house for a wonderful Franshhoek holiday.

My family has a great time at Cara’s. The house is spacious and comfortable. Our two dogs were safe and couldn’t escape the property while enjoying downtime during the day. Close the beach and central Hermanus (a good launchpad).

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was not only equiped with everything that we needed, but had so much more. Adet was extremely helpful and responded to all our messages. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Stanford.

Elsja made sure we were warmly welcomed - Christmas decorations, gifts for our dogs and some fabulous treats for us! This is our 2nd holiday at the house and love the large rooms with plenty of light and fresh air - easy walks to the beach and the mountain. We will be back! Thank you.

This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Epic stay at a beautiful place. Good comms with India in the run up and Anton helpful during our stay. He also cooked us a beautiful roast lamb dinner which we highly recommend. 5 stars all round. The house is perfectly situated, yes it is a bit tired in places but it only adds to the charm. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms in good condition and the garden an absolute gem. This was our second visit to Gledsmuir and the stay matched our best expectations - again! We had a full house of 15 young and old adults (!) but the house is so spacious there was a place for everyone, whether it was to enjoy ball play or swim outside, or to find a space inside to play board games or cards, do a jigsaw puzzle or crossword, or read. The staff were unobtrusive and helpful, and magically restored the place to its pristine level throughout the day and early each morning. In particular, not having to be overly worried about washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen was a great treat for all the busy adults in our group. We had a truly relaxing and fun stay, in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The price is on the high side but you get what you pay for, and more.

Grandioses Umfeld, Blumenpracht, parkähnliche Anlage, geht nicht besser. Einzig das Internet ist nicht besonders stabil, bzw. sehr langsam, aber ausreichend. Owen ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder.

The Pines is a wonderful venue for a breakaway with a group of friends or family. The old farm-style homestead is in impeccable condition, with the trappings you expect from a much more modern house. Everything was spotless, from the bedroom linens and towels, to the well equipped kitchen, and the outside area. The weather was fantastic, so most time was spent in and around the pool, on the tennis court, and in the cool quiet of the house. Do: 1. spend an early morning with fresh coffee on the stoep, waiting for the sun to start painting the glorious mountains right in front of you; 2. make communal meals and eat under the ancient trees in the afternoon and at the huge dining room table in the evenings, where our stories mingled with those that had come before us; 3. bring your - well behaved - furry friends, they will get as much from the large expanse of lawn and, since the property is fully fenced, the can explore as much as they want to; and 4. braai next to the pool. Enjoy!

What a lovely, tranquil, and peaceful stay! The home was spotless and truly one of the best and most well-equipped places we’ve ever stayed in. From the spacious and comfortable bedrooms to the pristine bathrooms and the thoughtful amenities throughout, everything was designed to make our stay incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Even though the weather wasn’t the best- the home was so cosy to spend in doors as well, but definitely booking it during summertime to get to experience it then as well. Overall, a fantastic experience—10/10, would definitely recommend, with a lovely host/cohost to make it a great experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the POD. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet and definitely somewhere that wed recommend to anyone needing a time out and to reconnect with nature.

Wow, we have never felt so relaxed. Our stay was during a very cold and rainy period and the cabin offered a perfectly cozy getaway for us to truly unwind and get away from our busy corporate Cape Town lives. The fireplace and pizza oven were highlights for us. The road leading up to the cabin had us a bit nervous at times as it was quite muddy and uneven, a bigger SUV or bakkie will be completely fine. We will 100% be back for a longer stay next time. We couldn’t recommend it more.

What a memorable stay in Hermanus, made more so by Marinda. Location was ideal. Quiet yet close to everything. The cottage was in a beautiful setting as Marinda's garden is breathtaking. Odie and I felt completely at home in the cottage, including interaction with neighbors! Marinda is a kind soul, always looking out for me and Odie. Cannot wait to visit again during whale season!

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

Absolutely loved it. Earthy and private and loved every second, wanted to stay longer. Hot tub was amazing. Takes a while to heat up but is fun to test the temperature and still warm in the morning if u play it right. Pool is fantastic. Nothing to complain about.

Carolyn is a very warm, friendly, hospitable and generous host. She welcomed us personally and ensured that everything about our stay was perfect. Her wonderful Farm Manager, Promise, checked in discreetly to see if there was anything we needed during our stay. We stayed in Palm Cottage which is super luxurious! The attention to detail is exquisite - we could not believe that you could get this kind of accommodation on a farm. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cater in the cottage. The furniture, linen and towels are of exceptional quality. The bed was enormous and so comfortable. Huge shower, Victorian free-standing bath and double vanity. The pool was lovely, in front of the covered terrace, looking out to the fields and orchards. The farm animals are as friendly as their host. Extremely peaceful and beautiful surroundings. No road noise or noisy neighbours at all. If you’re looking for total rest, this is the place to go.

We had a wonderful stay at Lindsey’s place in Greyton. The home was stunning, the wood-fired hot tub was a highlight, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it all the more special. Greyton is a charming town, and I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
