The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

@Maggie is a contemporary, architect designed holiday home in a small eco reserve, 5 minutes from Montagu, on the R62, about 180 km from Cape Town. Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

Lily Pond, is a luxurious guest house just an hour and a half from Cape Town. Enjoy the serene setting of this romantic getaway, nestled in nature—just 7km from the charming town of Montagu in the Little Karoo. The tent offers an off-the-grid experience, yet you’ll still have cellular reception and all the comforts of luxury. The tent is equipped with electric plugs & a range of small appliances: kettle, induction plate, microwave, toaster & an air-conditioning unit with hot & cold settings. The unit accommodates 2 guests with a queen-size bed.

Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
