Enjoy all the restaurants and events Columbus has to offer including the newly opened Harrah’s Casino and Racetrack, Enjoy a morning coffee looking out over the lake and the hot tub at night!

Enjoy quiet country living in our guest house by our home on the Platte River. There are forty acres where you can fish, walk, swim, or just relax on the porch. The nest accommodates a family of four, but if you need more space ask to add the River Room to your reservation. Enjoy one of the restaurants nearby or bring your own food and utilize our gathering space with couch, tv, fridge, kitchenette, and grill. WIFI is available but we recommend you put down the devices and enjoy your getaway.

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

The Carriage House

This Carriage house sits in the back yard of the main house on this property. This property dates back 120 + years and is in excellent condition. It is a little piece of Aurora's history located right off our town square. The house can sleep 4, however I would say best suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. There is not a door between the bedroom and living room.

The BIN House: A Unique Couples Getaway! (No children or infants, no pets.) This converted grain bin has been on the family farm since the 1930s. Up until several years ago, it stored grain. You go up a ladder to reach the lofts. Kitchen has stove, refrigerator and sink. Bathroom has shower and toilet. Country setting.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. If you like camper life, here’s a 16 foot gem, tucked under trees for afternoon shade. Great for someone working in the Columbus or Schuyler area. Farm location, quite secluded. Chickens behind the camper, but no rooster!
