It is set in just under 2 acres of grounds which it shares with our other holiday let Blackthorn Lodge. Situated in the rural village of Coed y Paen. Only 5-minute walk to the Carpenters Arms country pub and restaurant and 10 minutes’ downhill walk to Llandegfedd Lake’s Visitor and Water sports Centre which also has a lakeside café and walking trails.

Your bedroom with en-suite bathroom can be a double or twin. Savour a sundowner on your private terrace or a lawn-lunch picnic. After dark our famous “dark skies” are a spectacle for the eyes!

Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .
