Chapel Corner forms half of a converted Wesleyan Chapel built in 1864. It is centred in the beautiful, ancient village of Winkleigh which is the heart of Devon, equidistant from both coasts and moors and allows guests to explore this fantastic area. The Chapel is foremost a home; comfortable and quirky. There is a spacious kitchen with with a stunning staircase, a large sitting and dining room with cosy woodburner, two beautiful bedrooms, a modern shower room and bathroom. Parking for 1 car.

Organic farm Shepherd's Hut with a view

You will find ‘The Leveret’ our shepherds hut, on our family run organic farm.  With lovely views across the Torridge valley and beyond to Dartmoor, it is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.  The farm has a mixture of meadows for our cattle and sheep, woodlands and arable and veg fields and is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

The cottage is situated in a quiet area with around 45 minute drive to the sea and some beautiful North Devon beaches. A quiet simple countryside retreat. NB: No takeaways available

Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Escape to our couples only Tiny House on the edge of Dartmoor. Spend your days exploring the moors, then return to soak in your wood fired hot tub overlooking the fields. For the adventurous, we share our favourite local walks, kayaking spots, and cycling routes or simply switch off and enjoy the peace. Food lovers are spoilt for choice, with cosy country pubs nearby that serve fantastic food. And yes, we’re dog-friendly 🐕 because adventures are better with your dog by your side.

'The Cabin' is a romantic couple's retreat, but conversely, a family's nostalgic getaway to a simpler life. Overlooking a field of friendly sheep who wander right up to the living room windows, and bird feeders which welcome a wealth of birds at every elevation, you will feel immersed in nature and wildlife. Go outside and toast marshmallows on the fire pit, or sizzle sausages on the brick charcoal barbecue. Then sink into the electric hot tub, turn up the jets and gaze at the stars.

With a log burner for cosy winter nights in, and a lovely shingle garden for sunny afternoons. Comfortably sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

Stargazing Retreat is a lovely secluded one bedroom cabin with a hot tub, countryside views and a log burner, making it an ideal retreat at any time of year. Located in the unspoilt North Devon countryside between Okehampton and Great Torrington, the retreat is somewhere to escape to and enjoy all the countryside has to offer. Ideally situated to explore Dartmoor, both North & South Devon coasts and Cornwall beyond.

Based on a traditional 500 acre farm, Rookery Retreat is a unique shepherds hut nestled in a your own acre of oak woodland, a secret thousand year old time capsule.
