We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Spruce Mountain Getaway

For those seeking solitude………you know who you are…. Toast marshmallows and watch the stars in our high altitude, low light pollution mountain paradise gem. Privately nestled in a tall pine and aspen forest. At 9,300 ft, the summers are cool, the wildflowers are plentiful and the stars are bright. Very private, very quiet. Sip your coffee on the deck and maybe the local moose, elk or deer will pay you a visit. Wildlife you won’t miss- mosquitoes. Enjoy your stay in our mosquito-less mountain.

Barnwood Chateau with 2 Master Suites + Hot Tub

With two master suites, this home is ideal for couples who love mountain views! Located in the rugged hills just 3 miles from downtown Salida, and 2 miles from extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, this home offers the perfect combination of rural quiet and small town amenities. Several of the home's stylish features were constructed from barn wood salvaged from an old Missouri farm, as well as other recycled materials, thanks to the owners' earth-conscious habits (and impeccable taste!)

Jefferson Farms

Spacious home located on alpaca farm. Quiet and private, storage space for bikes, ski gear etc. Large open living with living room/dining room/reading area/kitchen and two bedrooms with spacious bathroom. Bathroom has shower only (sorry- large soaking tub is in other apartment, which is adjoining to family apartment). Perfect get-away, rent both sides to sleep 8-10. Fully stocked and supplied. Fresh farm eggs and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cream included. Collect your own eggs, if you want!

The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

Salida Mountain View Retreat, 5 min to Town

Only 5 min to downtown Salida & 25 min to Monarch Ski! Offering a 2 bedroom, 1 bath private 1 story house + sleeper sofa. Treed 2 acre property with mountain views & park-like setting with 2 private decks in addition to a shared "community deck" with seasonal creek (Apr-Oct) & meadow. Please note the basement of the airbnb is privately locked off for storage and the acreage is shared with a separate house. Only 100% cotton sheets & natural detergents, no scented sprays used. Riverbend Retreat Guest Suite

This secluded riverside location is just the place for a quiet and comfortable getaway, 3 miles from downtown Salida. Our rural setting is beautiful in every season, offering views of the mountain valley as well as direct access to fishing easements on the Arkansas River. The private suite is an addition to our home with its own exterior entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, and small dining area. This space is most comfortably used by 2 adults with children, or 3 adults sharing the suite.
